Because it is so clear, it takes a longer time to realize it.

Yeah, the devs have said that you don't have to be into PvP to enjoy Darkfall, of course I am, and many others are as well, but people who care about their reputation etc. Won't go pking everybody they see, I'm sure some will, but not the ordinary person, since that will have consequences, so a PvE player could easily make it in Darkfall.

If there is one thing I learn about online behaviour, it will be this: that quite a lot of people do not care about their reputation.  They believe that they are hidden behind the avatar and will be as abrasive as they can be.  If you believe that open PVP does not degenerate into newbie farming, oh well good luck.  I have seen enough of those exploiting the weakness of the newbies.  Heck, even in non open PVP in WoW, there are jerks who visit the newbie land and stand inside the stationary mobs, hoping the newbies will pull them instead of the mobs, and wham, there goes one level 5 dead.

You are sure some will, I am sure a lot will pk randomly, and these guys will wreck the pleasure of many other players by griefing, harassing, bad mouthing, spamming and all kinds of most notorious obnoxious behaviour you cannot even imagine.  At the end of the day, players will desert the game, and these parasites will move on to plague another game.

The only way to stop them?  Make it impossible to grief.  WAR has a solution that is funny: chicken.

Darkfall is the only game I'm waiting for. It's seems to be UO just with better graphics.

However I'm turning 27 this year and getting married next year. So they better hurry up releasing the game else I wont be able to play it hehe.

As long as your ingame character have to feel the consequences of his behaviour towards others nothing will get out of hand. Thats why you have a alignement system.

Actually in my post, I didn't refer to what people think of their reputation, I was speaking of the alignment system, sure there will be people going stag trying to survive on their own, pking everyone they can find, but not to the extent that it will ruin the game for PvErs. Keep in mind that surviving in Darkfall with a bad alignement will be hard, as far as I heard that is.
