I'd just about covered WE's About and FAQ sections and had found some interesting points really. If this is really gonna be a f2p effort, what's the real tact/catch in addressing or rather

1. What's the steps taken to differentiate the solo campaigns away from replicating the online counterpart's list of the same tasks? Mind you I think that's the operative term here which is :- tasks. It's that 1 single element that can easily contradict WE's effort to negate prolonged grind for one amongst other important objectives. So is it like we can really hack and slash stuff offline and see it's really done when we get on the online side or do we have to deal with redundancies?

2. Thanks for giving much thoughts in NOT emphasizing dx10 crapvaganzas for low specced comp users for the game.

3. Classes... Of course the lot of us are too familiar with the mechanics but really..Is it possible to hope and expect for each class' attributes/skill sets to be "ripped out" from preset templates and available freely as per players' choosing? Perhaps I'm asking too much at this stage by now.

4. Special EQs as the money makers (YOUR revenue stream I mean)... How "special" are we talking about here? Purely cosmetic OR game breaking with stats/skills/attributes boosters? If it's the latter, I'll be upfront in saying that it won't be long until you have NO choice but to introduce the standard grind formulas back into the game. Say hello in advanced to road to ruins turn no.1...

5. Is there plans to simultaneously release the same English version on Chinese servers to serve English speaking Asian players with OPEN IP policy with the NA audience? Because I happen to be 1 if you must know..

6. Uhh...I think by now shouldn't you be eligible to apply for a specific WE forum section here in MMORPG.com?

1. Warrior Epic can only be played online.  You may opt to attempt any campaign/adventure alone, though it will become increasingly difficult to do so as you progress.  Our game is designed to negate the necessity of mindless level grinding.  The rewards for completing a campaign will be ample enough in promoting your warriors and your hall at a faster rate than other games typically permit.  This puts pressure on us to create a lot more content, since we are not depending on grinding to provide it for us... which is good for you guys.

2. You will be amazed at how good a game can look when an investment is made in creating amazing art over depending on cutting edge technology to deliver it for you.

3. The skills are chosen by the player via skill point distribution.  There are also "special" skill points that are awarded when a player performs in PvP... this will give you access to skills that would be otherwise unobtainable.

4. The majority of our cash shop items are cosmetic only.  However, there will be some special warrior classes available, as well as select items and buffs.  NO amount of money can buy power in Warrior Epic.  "If you want to be the badass in the game, you have to get your hands dirty".  There are also no progress locks... you could never spend a dime in Warrior Epic and still be completely satisfied with your experience.

5. Yes.

6. Good question.  I am hoping MMORPG will feature our game after the CB comes out and they get to test it themselves.

I only created my account.  They should enable IP viewing here to inhibit cloak and dagger posting...  I am just here to educate people about our game, nothing more.  My apologies if my presence offends you.

Is your game fast paced with lots of interaction or boring and slow?

Diablo 2 style of silkroad/everquest style?

Well, if it helps, you can contact support@mmorpg.com to see about being listed. The requirements are:

  • 500 or more simultaneous players in one world.
    • The game must include some form of graphical common area. This distinction means Diablo II is not considered an MMORPG, while Guild Wars is.
  • It must be graphical...so no text based MUDs.
  • Persistent characters.
  • Some form of character advancement.
  • It must use a true client/server connection.  In other words, no HTML or "web" based games.  Games that run in a browser using Java are OK.
  • Five or more screenshots from inside of the game engine itself.
  • A professional web site free of annoying pop-up ads or Spyware programs and access to some kind of support system.
  • Must fully support English.  This means the client interface, in-game chat, help system and support website must all be in English.

NOTE: At this time we are no longer adding 2D/Isometric games to our list - we will add these again at a later date once we adapt our list to allow feature filtering.

If the game fails to meet any of these criteria, we do not include it on MMORPG.com. Occasionally, we will cover high profile games that have not yet met the screenshot criteria, but they will still not be included in the “Game List”.

Out of those, the portions I highlighted will probably be the final determiners. From what I can see from the game description, it seems along the lines of Diablo II.

How many players can actually all be connected and interacting with each other at the same time?

Will their be a common area where hundreds can be at, or will it basically be the player in his hold and interaction with others basically consisting of a chatroom style, only seeing each other when in an instance?

Warrior Epic satisfies all of those criteria.  It is fully 3D and has very few mechanics that are similar to D2.  As I said, the CB will go live in a matter of days, at which point the MMORPG editors can experience the game for themselves and determine if they want it on their site... but WE is an MMORPG where thousands of players can interact simultaneously in a common area.

Nice. I'll definitely keep an eye on the game then. It does seem interesting.

is it a stat based system, where on level up you can place points into strength, health, dexterity etc?

Hello Jim,

It is a stat based system, but level based point distribution is automated.  Equipment will be a huge determining factor in stat point growth as well.

Ok thanks for the answer.

Im a bit disapointed that you cant place stat points where you like, but the rest of it sounds good. I hope the talent trees are nice and varied, and not like Mythos when it was in an earlier build.

Do the talent trees work in the Diablo/WoW way,or the Mythos/Titan Quest way?

mythos + titan

If the point distribution is automated, then it can't really be a stat-based system but a raw class system.

Equipment improves on various parts of that class, but if the scores can't be altered...

I'm uninterested in the game because of microtransactions, but you could still change your minds later. So I have a couple of questions.
