I agree, one of the most amazing things about DF is how many people create alt accounts or new accounts to either support or slam DF. 

I've seen no other game/forum that displays this phenomenon quite so often, and these new posters are usually fairly single threaded in their interest.  They will only post about DF.

It sometimes lasts over time as well, their account might be a year or three old, yet they still only drop on the forums once in a while just to either prop up or bash DF.

Certainly an interesting social phenomenon, which makes discussing it more fun.

Me, I think they are trying to develop a game according to the promises they made.  I just don't believe they can keep them, no matter how long they take to make it.

they already habe kept there promises excpt for like 1 or 2 features that dotn need to be in at release. If there telling the truth we will find out here very soonish.

I have my sources. But i couldnt prove it if i wanted to so its sucks that ic ant but meh. call me a liar if you want to but it will make you look like a fool later

Bro, you didn't even know that Darkfall was not their first or only project. So, give the "I have knowledge you don't" bit a rest. You've already proven multiple times you don't know squat about half the things you claim to. Man up, and just admit you're as in the dark as everyone else is. You have noone to impress on here, so why the charade? I mean, do you feel the need for self-validation that bad?

I was in wish beta and i was in mourning beta.

Wish was not a hoax. It didn`t meet the expectations (kinda like Dark and Light but not as bad eventho D&L got released O.o).

Mourning was simply very far from being ready and the devs were simply not as good as they thought. When you played that game you saw that all they care was trying to make itlook pretty. The game mechanics were very reudimentary even in the end. But yet again against common belief Mourning was not a hoax. I played it. If they wanted to cash in they could`ve done that without programming a half finished game.

Mourning was a failure with devsw that had trouble connecting to reality. ;)

From the information we have about Darkfall it could be anything from total failure to the genres next big hit.

One thing is for sure. It wont be a WOW killer. It has a chance to deliver for a niche PVP market just like EVE does and could be successful there.

All we need to do is wait and see. If it is a hoax or vaporware wh do you care? Move on and laugh at those fools.

If it delivers we finally get a fantasy PVP MMO that is worth being played.

Personally i hope they can pull it off. I am quite sure that it will be bug ridden for quite a while even if it deliveres considerign it is their first MMO.

Money from advertising. This game is a fake and will never be a virtual reality.
