Mainly some classic rock: Hendrix, Beatles, Zeppilin, and Springsteen to mention some of my favorites I also like metal although screamo doesn't appeal to me much. |

Those are some pretty generic genres. There are a lot more categories that music can fall into. I like rock, but I absolutely hate that MTV crap - Nickelback, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and crap like that. So I'll just list a top 5, ignoring genre. 1. Muse 2. Modest Mouse 3. Tool 4. Radiohead 5. Queens of the Stone Age
My top 3 switch positions with eachother a lot depending on what I'm in the mood for. And outside of those bands, I like quite a few. I even like some country music, but it doesn't fall into my favorites category.

I put my vote in for Jazz, as I'm putting a bet in that noone else/very few others would, because most people tend to 'like' jazz, but not 'listen to' it.
