Um.. I thought they were announced at the same time? I recall the press release specifically stating they did not want to announce the CE before the delay? I found about both at the same time...

They announced the content of the CE edition to diminish the bad reaction for the delay. Duh. |

I havent followed WAR at ALL. infact, i know nothing of it lol. but i suspected that a reason behind it may have been because of AoC. reaslesing after there enemie would give them better insight on things.......

I ordered my CE at 9am EST... and see that WarCry did the interview about 11/2 hours later. I'm just saying it would have been nice to know about the delay LONG before the release of CE... You think they didn't know they were going to DELAY it? It's fine, make the game better, but be up front. I think they need some cash flow to get this thing finished, that is the only reason they did a CE release 6 months or so before the launch. |

Fan sites and the like obviously get more hits when you talk about an amazing CE first though. Mark Jacobs told people to wait to order it as well. |

Regardless, doesn't matter which was announced 1st! ...and I doubt this had anything to do with AoC........I applaud Mythic for speaking up about whats going on and wanting to take as much time as needed to make sure WAR is complete unlike; ahem....Funcom; keeping everything in the dark and the only real news is from beta testers...
