WAR (Warhammer Online)

Oh yes the content alone is worth paying for to me. So thought others I will do the pre-order with at the same time. 128 page graphical novel!!! over 200 pages of art-work!!! A mousepad! The miniature is nice too but I've painted and built enough of theese already though :)

Where did it say you get a mouse pad?  I just checked what mmorpg.com said the CE included and I didnt see anything about a mouse pad in there.

I like the idea of a mousepad. The rest doesn't really do much for me as I'm not much into artwork besides it being ingame.

I would have preferred an OST myself ^^

I'm particularly interested in the extra faces that you get for your characters because i hate looking like anyone else. They always have the same thing, where they have like 15 faces... but one is clearly a lot more appealing than the others so everyone goes for it! This will give me more chance of being unque :)

I'm not really much of a collector but because Warhammer is a HUGE brand you really feel like there will be demand just for the aspect of collecting it for the name. I bet there will be loads of people who pre-order with no intention of ever playing the game - they just want the boxset.

Most CEs are just an ego enlargement.

128 pages graphic novel which I may look through once and then lay somewhere, the same goes for the art-work... 200 pages, I will probably not even be focused enough to go through all that! I already have a very good mousepad, it's not like I need another one. If you've read through the previous comment you may guess what I think about the miniature; it will just stand around being in the way. But the other in-game stuff... I simply can't decide what I should do.

Titles, quests, stupid looking character heads and open beta access! All these stuff is great for some kind of lame ePeening, and yet I know myself that I want it. I must say that the price the game goes for currently is way to much for me. I wish they could have a Collector's Edition without all those (stupid) graphic novels and so on, which would sell at a lower price.

I am sure you will see the codes for items and such on ebay and the like if that is what you are looking for. I must agree with the others though, for an MMORPG CE, this has to be the best one by far!

The CE is definitely worth getting! Though, why do people order it 6 months before release?

Because there are only 60k available!  Thats not very many considering most new MMOs in recent yrs have had like 250k to 500k subs within the first few months.

They sell out 1st, ppl like having all the shiny~shiny extras!

I agree, but 6 months?! Don't forget what happened with Gods and Heroes, it is not worth the trouble getting it already. I would wait for another few months.
