Flying Lab Software has posted notice of an issue with the new patch that was released this morning and consequently they have had to lock the Pirates of the Burning Sea servers. There is no word yet of how long this issue will persist.

An issue has been discovered with the patch we released this a.m. We have locked the servers and may or may not take them down while we deal with this. Apologies for the inconvenience! We will get them back up and running as soon as we can! More info when we have it…

Update: No update. :( Those folks who are working actively on this problem are unwilling to hazard a guess as to when it might be resolved. They are continuing to work and I’m trying to balance hounding them for info w/ letting them be productive.
