now they will bring cash shop into game soon, try to charge you and will neglect this game and you will be paying for a game that recieves no attention or updates from the game company.  Would you  pay for a service like that?  I would not..

there are many games coming out  that are huge titles and  where devs, gm, customer service actually listen to you and update their games:

rohan, aion, tcos, age of conan, etc etc.. do not bother playing requiem. unless you are into wasting your time.

This game is in friggin CB!!! Most people don't stay during the entire beta testing stage as they know their character will be wiped...They do their duty to test the ins and outs of the game and they move on and test other games.

This game has some very cool features IMO..if you don't have constructive criticism with regards to those things you do not like then move the fck on! Its a free game, telling people not to play it makes it pretty obvious that you feel you have been burned in some way..(hmm banned for hackin maybe??). Its your choice at the end of the day to voice your opinion..You did play until lvl 40 so if you hated it that much why hadnt you stopped much sooner ? lmao

Making an excuse for a game because it's in CB is VERY weak.No game on earth will hardly change at all after CB.There may be a few tweaks here and there but CB will give you EXACTLY what you need to see in a game to garner an accurate opinion.The biggest changes ever made to a game is prolly VANGUARd and i don't exactly see the masses knocking down the doors to get in.So first impressions are the norm in every case,if you can't leave a good first impression from your game,do NOT expect them to return,simple as that.

I sort of agree that maybe the OP shouldn't tell others to not play just because it wasn't quite up to snuff for his ideas.I think the OP did sort of like some of the game but found each idea didn't quite go far enough to please him.This isn't so bad as a game that is totally a pile of junk and not worth the time of day.

You ask why someone played to 40? well if he only played for a couple hours then you would say he has no right to an opinion because he didn't give the game a chance.Am i correct in assuming this?I hear it all the time when someone can't accept criticism of a/there game.

but yep, cb is gonna be exactly what you see it is now on open, barely anythign will change.

I don't want to get into a huge flame war here, but I played Requiem for a month or so , and although it was (as CB is now closed) lacking a little in content, it was quite enjoyable.

Now, if you check the site out, Gravity say they are addressing the following things before Open Beta:

More instance

More quests

More races/classes

More weapons and customization

Maybe the new stuff will suck, but maybe try and play it again AFTER they add new content before you start complaining how there isn't anything in the game.

I've played in a few betas now, and the one unifying factor is that they always lack content, because you need to make sure you have a game and servers that actually work before you put the rest in.

If you play closed betas then expect a very VERY unpolished product.

To anyone out there thats considering Requiem, give it a try, don't get put off by people screaming how poor it is before they even open to the public.

it was open to the public anyone with 5minutes could get account and play it, it had such bad reception from players and the population died so fast, of course they trying to delay the 'closed beta' and taking their time to  open beta.

the game is failure even more so than fury and vanguard.  It is okay for a little while but after that the game fails miserably as a game and even more as mmo.  If you want to  play  a crappy  no population game  i suggest you  go and play a console game and not this.

So the best reason you have why the game is 'bad' is 'because i said so' ?

First off i have tested alot of mmo's in closed beta and open beta. Whoever said that a game is not built apon after closed beta is a moron. Even during open beta games get new content including quest, armor, weapons, skilld etc. To say otherwise is a true sign of ignorance. To shun a game because it wasnt up to your expectations during closed beta is also ignorant, mainly because closed beta all you get is a basic build to test the primary functions of the game. For those that thought CB was a true sign of what the game had to offer must have missed the massive update that will be included in OB. Pfft tbh after reading alot of these post i can understand why some of you have such low levels of comprehension.

Man, its hard to keep listening to all these people who insist things will change once it gets out of beta; the chances of it happening based on the current ratio is like 0.5%.  They never change because it costs a lot of money and time which none of these games seem to want to give.  I havent played requiem, im simply responding to the person saying "give it a break its in beta, things very rarely change on such a grand scale yet I always see posts like this.
