The folks behind Requiem: Bloodymare have announced that they have extended their closed beta period until April 17th.

The closed beta period is extended until Thursday April 17th, 2008.

This is to provide us further opportunity to optimize and correct the game as much as possible before stress testing and eventual launch of Requiem.

Thank you for your continued support.

Its a good idea to polish the game before they get into stress testing, and of course add the content they want initially to not create a monster grind. After all once stress test starts, most players will be there to try the game not test.

You're right Cleffy. I was waiting for this game to reach open beta so I could play it. Play it as in, not really report things to further help game development, but just to waste a few nights playing a game that on the outside looks like a lineage 2 grinder (Im probably wrong of course but i dont know yet).

This is a good move, IMO. Don't release a half-developed game to the public yet. Just like my orchestra, we'll cancel a performance if we're just going to half-ass it and cross our fingers the whole time. We only play when we're 100% sure we'll kick ass. Same should go for games, ESPECIALLY these korean grinder games.

From what I heard, this sounds like a promising game (dungeons sound interesting).
