If the devs dont answer and are being "100% open and honest" as the fanboys here claim they are then this is a big scam.

With the history this game has its as easy as that.

So, once again. List ALL the owners. List all the devs. List all ex-RR members who are involved in any way.

If you cant do that then sorry. Try scamming but not where you did it just a year ago.

Ok, a course the team is going to need some money before the game comes out.  Accepting pre-orders shows how much faith the team has in the game.  It shows that they know the game is going to be solid.  IF they cant even live up 2 the one year payment then they could end up with a lot of problems.  In the gaming world you cant really *scam* and get away with it.  The closest thing you can do with it is change the sub over to a suckier game like RR did.  And just because one RR person is on the team dosent make the whole team bad.  It dosent even make the RR person bad.  There were a lot of good people in RR who were just doing their job.  Every company operates under the same rules as they did....  Get all the money from the customer you can, they just missed one, keep the customer happy.  So please.. Give it a break...  Please.  This is a good game, i dont want the name ruined, i want others 2 be able 2 experiance the entertainment this game brought me =).

Umm with fanboys like this defending the game you dont really need irritating critics like Zorvan and me here...

Do you really mean that the fact that the developers are taking money at an alpha-state is proof that the game will be "solid"? You come here with an ex-RR game, you come to a place where ex-Dark & Light, ex-Mourning etc gamers are and say that? Are you insane?

I dont know if I should take you seriously but it seems like you are confirming that there are former Rapid Reality employees in the dev team for Endless Ages.

If you want to keep your job and ur b0ss tells you to do something what do you do? You do what he says, even if it includes lying.  Expessially when you have a family to provide for or other jobs may be slim...  So it dosent matter if an ex-RR is working in the team, it means nothing at all im sure there were alot of awesome people working in RR with great potential....  If the boss of RR was the boss of the Company who has EA now, that would be a diffrent story...  Also, tell me one game that you know every dev on.  A game that is done by a company that includes more than 7 people, please tell me off the top of ur head. The devs give us information, so far every piece of info execpt some timing has been accurate.  But timing errors on alpha release are understandable.  so tell me, is the point your trying to make is that EA is a scam??  Give me some hard evidence that this company is.  Just because of the past company who owned it had some crucked ways, means nothing at all...

Dont get me wrong, i totally agree there was a lot of messed up stuff going on in RR.  But htey did as any company would do when they are eliminating a game *or trying to* they suck up every last penny they can get.  Thats just business, and all you would do the same im sure.  But, Jason and the rest of his crew have proven to be *respectable*.  They have proven to be honest, and also they look out for the cummunity.  They have shown they arnt  interested in getting every penny they can out of EA, although im sure they wouldent mind a profit at all.  So please, allow time before you make assumptions...  really, they give a bad name to a game and company who dosent deserve it.

Hey folks,

First off let me introduce myself, my name is Jason Lee and I'm the co-owner of a new california based game company called Digital Motion Entertainment LLC. My partners name is Brandon Brophy, hes a 50 year old retired contractor (and the guy I bought my house from) who has been very successful. I have 2 kids and I'm married living in Sacramento CA.

I was once a former subscriber to Endless Ages, all versions of it from Beta to the MMO Lands versions and I was known as "SnOwFoX" in the game. I also had the miss fortune of pre-ordering a year of phylon when they closed Endless Ages down and Rapid Reality went to shit.

Me and my partner have purchased the game from Rezilio and Aaron Boucher just recently and are trying to bring this classic game back to everyone. We realize that Rapid Reality and the horrible things they did tarnished the Endless Ages name but we hope to overcome that with good service and being true to our promises when it comes to the game.

If anyone wants to look up our company online you can do so at the California LLC registration site where all California based companies are listed.

We hope everyone enjoys the return of Endless Ages, and if you are skeptical then by all means wait until things are stable and the game is live to try it out.

Lastly  a little info about our company: The basis of our company is to find games that at one time were good fun games that have been shut down for whatever reason and buy them and bring them back online for all the people who enjoyed them. Of course Endless Ages is only our first game and we have our eyes on quite a few other games that were closed down and may be dated now but are still fun. Also please keep in mind that we have just recently formed this company and were new at what we are doing! We have experience with games but were not a big company like a lot of the game developers out there such as Blizzard. Because we are new a lot of the stuff on our site such as the team links and our main company site are not ready/do not work yet. Our main company site is http://www.dme-games.com and even it has hardly any information on it at this time. Of course this is a priority for us and we'll get it updated and functioning as soon as possible.

Thanks for reading my blabber, I just had to comment on this and let people know a bit about our company.

*there is all the info jason wrote for you to read again.  Really, hes a great guy and like he said, if you want to wait to pay and play the game,  wait until its more solid if you have to have proof that hte company is a good one, wait...  No1 is forcing anyone to pre-order, its all up 2 u guys...  *

"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand" - Randy Pausch

There are so many people here saying

You don't have to pay for alpha.  END THREAD.

I laugh at these statements, for as the game is in development, are you not supposed to talk about it's release.  Now this is a very important matter, and I couldn't give a crap if it's just in alpha or almost released.  There is no way to ignore it, and sayign that it's free to try out alpha does absolutely nothing.  Cause sooner or later, the game will be released, and when it is, it is fair for new players to know about the risks that go along with subscribing.

Point is, I don't care that it's free, as it sooner will cost something.  And when it does, this is when they have to prove themselves.  In the meanwhile, sure it's just talk, but it is important to realize the past of a game, and it doesn't matter if it's new or old.

Tells us they are a real registered company for one. and the second thing would be that if someone brought EnB back.... we would have the same chat calling this so a scammer and a loser for shutting it down even though he never did it and tried to bring it back since he was a long time player..
