I had this same problem. I too won the contest for beta access, and did not receive my actual key for almost 8 months. Only after making several comments about it here did I finally get a PM from their PR person here on MMORPG.com who helped push me through the process to get my key. To be honest with you, though, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. It's really not worth your effort.

For some reason communication is really lacking fron TCoS staff all around. It is piss poor marketing not to communicate with fans on forums like this.

They use a 3rd party PR agency for marketing/PR. That firm feels it is enough to send out press releases to websites like this site and others like it. It is not, but not much you can do about it.

Next to that people claiming to know about TCoS marketing strategy have no clue... Marketing will start one month before release....Which is still not set, currently they are aiming for Q2 2008. And Spellborn is the first game with a true soundtrack...."The Howling" by within temptation is still the officiall title song of Spellborn. Just judge a game on content and quallity.... Currently i am a super hero in DCUO. Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) Worst MMO experience : FF XIV Waiting for : GW2

If you talk about tcos in the pub section of this site you will get a warning even though there are numerous threads on aoc/war. TCos is European and not being released in the USA when it goes gold. Mmorpg.com are avid war/aoc supporters and don't like to promote any game that might threaten there pet loves. If you don't believe me go make a couple of threads in the pub section and see what happens. I have informed the devs about it but like they say its mmorpg right to block any game they want but like they also said..who needs em. Im pretty sure they remove them because they prefer people to talk about games in their relevant section. Most of the AOC and War threads tend to be verses threads, so it is probably appropriate not to put them in either forum and just leave them on the general discussion. I have sent numerous e-mails without any response. <Mod edit> I think you are a bit upset you got a warning for something but just to put the record straight,Yes TCoS is being made in Holland but I think I am right in saying AoC is also european,Norway I think,Also TCoS will be released in NA we still hope but the devs are looking for the right publisher. Yes maybe this site does show biased towards AoC and WAR but out of the games due for release those are the games with the hype and why ppl will log onto this site...be patient m8 TCoS time will come...

Well..i have spoken to banshee and she has asked me to give any beta key winners this message. You can tell them the following: "We know that part of MMORPG.com contest winners did not receive beta invites due to some miscommunication, so we plan to hand it out through MMORPG.com later on, when things get somewhat more settled. It is quite some people and since we want to increase the stress on the servers gradually, it still may take some time." Well as you can see by this message..you have not been forgotten.

I too won a beta key, but have heard nothing from TCOS. They are really slow doing things there. I've been following TCOS from the start and I'm not sure about how they expect to run an MMO with their lack of customer support and over shooting their timetables by months. It doesn't look good for them, but I guess time will tell.
