I just shelled out $50 for PotBS just to find out my video card won't work(even though it was beyound system requirments). I check the support site just to find this You have an Intel 945G class video card (e.g. Intel 82945G Express Family Chipset) Cause:Software Vertex Shader support isn't sufficient. Work-around: At this time, we have no plans to change our Vertext Shader support needs so there's no reason to believe Note: Other Intel chipsets are also problematic. Generally, if the graphics card has an X in the name (and supports Pixel Shader 2.0) (e.g. Intel GMA X3100), it will work, if it hasn't (e.g. Intel GMA 3100) then it won't. I can't upgrade my card on my laptop. Just thought I would drop a warning to people to double check your video cards. |

You know, you're gonna get flamed for trying to play a game on an integrated graphics solution. |

Laptop use integrated gpu's which means your never going to be able to keep up with technology because you can't upgrade a integrated gpu. The only way you could play this game on a laptop is if you bought the best laptop available on the market. Integrated means your gpu is using its memory from your ram which means your ram is being handicapped by your gpu. Lets say you have 1 gig of ram but your gpu is using 256mb while gaming...now you only have 744 mb of ram, see what i mean? You should never expect to play new games on a laptop unless your rich and can afford a new laptop every 4 months, the gpu of a laptop can't be upgraded. A "video card" which you dont have, your using a integrated gpu. Video cards have onboard memory and don't effect your ram. |
