Im intressted in buying TR..  I have read all the forums and all I hear is how bad the game is.. the best criticism i can find is that the game is  good until the character reaches lvl30..

BUT.. if I really like scifi ..what is my options then? If someone would compare this with other scifi-mmoprg games.. how would you then rate it?

Anarchy Online: once was a great MMorpg for me but nw it's fairly dated, but it does have more feature's/options then TR has. If you can look beyond the graphics you might enjoy the game.

City of Heroes/Villlains: If you into superheroes this might be a intresting game, i really love superheroes but unfortunaly CoH/V is abit to much of the superhero, i like them to be rare not commercial. But again it migt be a game you might want to give a try to form your own opinion.

EVE: If you like space and more a Space Sim type of MMO then EVE might also be a game that could intrest you, don't expect it to be like the more traditional MMO as it isn't, it's very different and has a very steep learning curve, which can be a awesome challenge if you have the time to spend in EVE.

Matrix Online: Well if you liked hte movies, you atleast shold give this game a try, i don't know how the popualtion is atm but when i played it it was fun, tho i myself could hang with the game for more hten 4 months but still in those 4 months i had fun.

Star Wars Galaxies: still in my opinion the only more sandbox type of MMOrpg. Tho it still has issue's but it also has many feature's that are still not done in other MMOrpg's, keep in mind some people only focus on the issue's and forgetting how to have fun with this genre.

All in all TR is a very different game then those i mentioned above, it doesn't make the game bad for me, it makes the game different, i also do not go with that flow of expectations which in most cases you see ending in people being disappointed with TR, as most people i see saying hte game is crap sort of seem to think that when they say that it is fact. Where i say the game is fun which is NO FACT but pure a opinion of my own. Just like someone saying the game is crap is only a opinion. What TR did and thisis not a opinion but thisis fact is the upgraded the details of a MMO, something i feel many rushers don't stop to see.

You see there are people really playing a game, meaning they look at everything a game has to offer and there are people that look at games only to look a things that are not in a game, often the second group i personaly see complaining.

But....

TR has allot of room to sort out certain issue's and lots of room to improve in certain area's. As i said before i feel they might have had to much focus on certain details, they sort of forgot other sections of the game.

Thanks! Finally some good opinions about the game! I think I really would like it.. but would be nice if TR released a new trial key.. anyone know if something like that is coming soon? Or if some one has a spare :)

Just PM me on this site, and ill give you one, and get you started on my server with some help. The Game can be rough at first but once you start getting into it, youll love it, the depth gets really really insane.
