I was looking through all the MMORPG's on gamespots site and I stumbled apon just regular Warhammer Online. ITs was canceled and it was buy a different company and it had a different graphics engine.
Anyone know whats up with that?

It was the older Climax one. From what I remember it was going to be PvE only...could be mistaken on it... The Trailer for it was very cool, very wicked. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkQvPQJ1_Dk I have not seen many trailers that are like this one. It has a certain feel to it. |

I m so glad the Climax game was canned, you could only play the empire and it was only pve.... talk about a waste of an IP |

It looked really dark and grim and how i'd want a Warhammer game to look like, obviously without the crap graphics but I wish Mythics Warhammer was as dark as that game and not sooo cartoony. I like how they say "it's no fantasy" cause Warhammer isn't a fantasy game in my mind cause why would you want to live in that world? lol. We all know that game woulda have flopped though and Mythic stand a better chance but I reckon WAR will cap out at about 200-300k subs and then slowly drop after time. |

Im glad they canned that company...the graphics look like crap there's almost no color or life to it at all. Its the most bland looking armor I've seen...hell MorrowWind Elder Scrolls 3 looks bette. It only looks dark and grim due to the heavy fog!

I wish they didnt cancel it actually. Im sure the graphics would have been beefed up some cuz im sorry I hate the cartoon crap one of the reasons why I quit WoW. I want something dark and evil, you know like how AoC is going to be.
Well you guys have fun playing your game and Ill have fun playing mine. When they both come out, lol if AoC ever comes out.lol But I have faith in Funcom. I havent been disapointed in a game they made.

and if it did come out you'd be stuck playing the namby pampy pure pve WoW clone..thats what the original game would of been and thats not Warhammer At all. I'm glad Games Workshop decided the original devs were being complete pansies. |
