• Tempest is a competitive legion that strives to be the best...Call us hardcore or whatever you want, we play as actively as we can and although our main focus is PvP, we take every aspect of a game serious. We plan to be on top of our server and we usually meet that goal, otherwise we wouldn't continue playing in a guild like this.
  
• We are planning for the best possible start and will be deciding ahead of time what we think the best party setups (as well as crafting professions) are for raiding and PvP, and therefore will have restrictions on the amount of each class/profession we will have.
  
• Our clan is an old close-knit group of friends who have been playing together for years, we primarily play games together moving from game to game, server to server, etc... We originated on Sieghardt of L2 in 2004, but since C2 (05-06) we have played mainly L2private servers (L2X Staris, L2Revo, L2Abyss x7, SupremeL2/Azuregaming Aerith and Celes). There may be a handful of people left who played in Sieg back then.
  
• We will forming an alliance with Manhattan Project (ProjectM) in game. Even if the game mechanics don't support such an alliance, we will still be working closely with them for sieges, raids and general PvP/PvE grouping. We also plan to cooperate with other Legions from our faction for things like ownership rotation on the highest grade fortresses.
  
• We are currently playing on Aion CN on Azariel server (North China region), its about 50% english players, and there is an English patch. We started there in July and we would like any new members to play with us there. We may consider inviting if you will not play on CN, however it will depend on your app, and you must prove to us somehow that you are not going to lose interest quickly in Aion, won't emo quit or disappear before release, etc... (ie: you can post an armory or screenshots that show you have multiple levels of content in a game cleared and played the game for multiple months/years, or show some proof that you have been in a guild somewhere for a long period of time, etc...
  
  

What we can offer you:

• High activity/play time.
  
• Organized sieging/RvR on a regular basis (Primarily for the highest grade fortresses).
  
• Regular end game raiding/instance running.
  
• Daily (legion only) PvE group/PvP gank (AP farm) parties.
  
• Clan gear/crafting award system.
  
• Close-knit group of friends who all share the same goals and have been playing together for years.

What we expect from you:

• High activity/event attendance. We expect you to be playing active on a daily basis and be able to level/progress at a steady pace with the core of the legion. We may not kick for inactivity, but members can be excluded from gear distribution, and we will not spend time helping anyone who has fallen behind with clearing lower level content. We also expect you to be able to schedule to be on for planned events (but not expecting you to skip school/work or anything like that).
  
• Someone who listens and takes initiative to get better. Do what your told, don't leeroy, don't chase the 1 target by yourself when we are a full clan, don't get out of healer/buffer range, etc... Fraps your fights, learn from them and see what you can do better the next time, read patch notes to see how you can prepare for the next content, etc...We will not tolerate anybody who causes drama or disrupts events. We have experienced leaders who know what they are doing, do what they say and if there is a problem, bring it up later.
• Ventrilo and a mic. We also expect you to talk and communicate with your party mates during PvP. During events we set up individual party channels with leaders on global talk. We expect you to communicate and coordinate with your party members at the highest possible level.
  
• Most importantly, put the legion first. Party with clan mates, don't go with randoms, donate gear you don't need to the clan, contribute to whatever we are farming for (clan hall, tank armor set, etc...), if somebody needs help with PvP/progression, go help them and if a raid boss spawns or castle comes open for or under attack, drop what you are doing immediately and form up for it (this is mandatory, no exceptions).

Sry have never really been around these forums much, page has been updated and we are still recruiting, we are also considering playing some WotLK next month while we wait for Aion.

Few people cleaned out who went inactive and didnt respond.

We are recruiting clerics, chanters and rangers now.

We also had about a half dozen people playing Korean beta, and have a few people who will be playing Korean release until the US release comes out, give us a shout if you want to play with us, and check out our forums.

How do you play on the korean release?? its said that we need a plaync korean account.....if you know how im interest to join the Guild and play with you live!!!! I have experience in like 9 MMORPG

Ok, we are full enough for now and will only be recruiting people are are willing to play WoW with us (Ally on Magtheridon), whether you start from scratch or xfer another char, it doesnt matter. We started from scratch about 4-5 weeks ago on this server, and have some 80's now and are running heroics...10-mans and premades will start in the next week or two.

The other being if you have a personal vouch from a Tempest member...and class doesn't matter (except for Glad or Spiritmaster, none of those). 

Still recruiting...would be best if you can play WoW with us, but we probably won't turn down a really good app.

Hello all...with the recent news of Aion's delay, we've decided to switch our focus over to a different game, and we won't be putting any focus or effort towards Aion until at the very least, there is an exact release date announced...and since Q4 2009 is so far away.

We're considering going to: AoC, Lineage 2 private, EVE, Darkfall or possibly waiting for Jumpgate: Evolution (although it does not have an exact release date either, and we don't want to end up with in same boat as Aion).

We're playing on a L2P server (and WoW server) atm, and our interes in Aion has been resparked more than ever after the recent beta.

We will be playing for sure, but we likely will not do any more recruiting prior to release. If you're some crazy mofo with an app nobody could refuse, give it a try, if you really want just post on our forums and try play with us on the beta events.

Update:

Seems a like a few more people than expected disappeared, and we don't have tolerance for any non-long term member who's been away for months and then pops in a day before Aion release to say oh hai im back.

So, that being said, we are open to recruiting around 5 or so people interested. Anybody who applies will be expected to be on for the upcoming beta events, and go through a trial there (nothing really special to do, play with us on beta and we will see how you are).

Preferably we would like a small crew/group of friends who are looking for a legion if there are any around.
