I am a seasoned WoW veteran and I thought it was time to pick up something new and fresh. I played the trial around 5 months back and I had a blast but I had absolutely no one to play with so I got to around level 14 and stopped. Now I am looking to buy the game and start playing.
I am looking for someone to let me join up their guild, play with me once in the while, show the ropes, etc.. I am a good learner and it won't take long for me to catch on. I can basically play whatever the guild needs. I am looking for someone who preferably will level a lower level toon with me at least once in a while.
If someone would be gracious enough to help me out, I would greatly appreciate all the help. |

Best thing to do is go to the SWG official Forums. If you look under the Galaxies Section ( Servers ) look for active guilds that are recruiting. I'm sure you will find one if not many to take you under their wing. |

To help finding someone in game to play with, ensure you play on a popular server. There are about four of them. It will make it easier. Do a forum search to find which ones and what is unique to them. The official forums have more than guild listings to help a new player. They also have written guides. Some are excellent and far exceed what you can find in the SOE knowlede base. |

If you're not into solo play, this game really isn't a good choice for you. Much of the grind to level 90 will be done all by your lonesome. You can't really be powerleveled either outside of buffs. Grouping for XP really isn't viable has you will be hard pressed to find someone on the same quest as you, let alone same level range. You can't share quests like you do in WoW. And even if you have a partner to run the Legacy quests with your net gain is less than doing it solo because you earn a lot less XP from the kills you make during the quests. I'm not necessarily attempting to scare you away from it, but these things are realities of the game and should be considered. If you enjoy the game and find other ways to interact with the community without being level 90 then by all means enjoy. |

I will always miss pre-CU but I still enjoy the game. |
