Just a simple question:

Can a level 30 crafting alt make weapons for higher level toons, or can he just make level 30 weapons?

If the latter is true, can you level the crafter toon by crafting alone? I.e does crafting give XP?

Crafters do not gain xp pure by crafting, only combat gives xp, also crafters DO NOT make weapons ( i know that sucks), see link for things your crafter WILL be capable of.

Thanks, but can a level 30 crafter make level 40 or 50 items and enhancements, or is the adventure level limiting the crafted products?

Level 45 minimum to make your crafter so that they can use every schematic.

Level 46 actually as there are some ammo schematics that require you to be level 46 to use.

Wait it out until level 50 to make a crafter, that way you can rest assured that no cloning credits were wasted.

When your other characters make it to 50, you may want to change your skills around a bit (flawed skill building is inevitable unless you have it planned, in which case you should be doing your school work instead ). So, keeping as many of those cloning credits as logically possible until the end is a smart choice.

Not being one to pass up a chance to troll, I say, "you should make a crafter at 30 because you'll probably stop playing this grind-fest by then."

I should color-code my posts from now on. Blue text would be truth and objective opinion and pastel yellow text would be snarky subjective hatred towards everything.
