What exactly is the difference between a botting program and using a coin to jam a keyboard key? Other than the obvious, offcourse. I could start up the game before I go to bed, jam the key with something, then head to sleep while the character does the rest. Voila, when I wake up, I may have levelled up a couple of times (If the game uses a level-up system, which Im sure it does). In this case, I guess people would start calling players "Keyjammers" or something like that, instead of bots. Basically, theyre both the same: Character automation. One uses software, the other doesnt. Thats it. And on the goldselling: What I'm trying to say is that it might not be spammed yet, but it will be at some point. Why? Because PW is one of those "Make cash fast, then make another MMO to do the same thing all over again" type of MMORPG. The developers will not make too much of an effort to fight goldselling. Its the same with all the other MMORPG's like it. Heck, even a game like WoW, with billions of profit income , can't effectively fight it. Its all a matter of popularity. PW isn't as popular as some of the MMO's. That may be the reason that goldspammers aren't attracted to it yet. Can't say for sure. I hope for anyone that plays it, it will never be too popular. PS: "anyways learning from just reading here in the net doesnt hold any stable grounds for any argument best you experience it " I speak from an allround MMO-gaming experience. PW is a free-to-play MMO with an Item all, and let's face it, theyre all the frikkin same. "Skill has not cool downed!" |

And all around MMO experience? CLAPS** your not the only one who has all AROUNd MMO experience.. and btw you clearly stated the PW has a gold spammer or gold seller already then why the heck you easily change your stand? o.O and to comment again in your all around MMO experience** i dont agree on that.. did you made that one up?

They are 2 different things, but they have the same goal: Character Automation. I did not say the keyjam is a bot program (Duh). I said they have the same result. I'lle say it again, just in case: Character Automation Which brings me to a difference: Botting software for specific games is hard to come by. Yet, everyone can use the keyjam trick (Which is probably why no one actually complains about it). I hope I'm clear on this one now.
Now on to the goldselling. PW isn't as popular as say.....Requiem. Lineage 2. Ragnarok Online. WoW. Etcetera, etcetera. I didn't say it isn't popular at all. Goldsellers will be at their best (In our case, at their worst) in popular games, where the most people are playing. Why? More people basically means more profit. Now, PW could become a lot more popular in the future (As could any game). That would mean that goldsellers would bring their business in there as well, especially since a bot program wouldn't be noticed that well due to the keyjam trick. Are you getting this? Because if not, I think your English could use some improvement, no offence. Again, if you DONT get this, Im done with this topic.
Ans on a sidenote: My MMO experience dates back to Ultima Online and Everquest. Not that I care you believe me or not. Alright, so, get this into your head. Otherwise, I'm done wasting my time on you. "Skill has not cool downed!" |

No game will dethrone WoW, unless Blizzard make WoW2 or another mmorpg. The only mmo out now with the potential do make a dent in WoW's numbers is Warhammer Online. It wont dethrone it as I believe WoW was a once in a lifetime thing. It will never happen again. Funny though to read the different fans wierd logic. Anyway, can you say asian grinder? It may look cool but I'm almost willing to bet money that it would be like all those other mmo's from Asia. Grindy like hell. |

i dont under stand it. why do u ppl like wow so much. they say its too slow to lvl and i personaly hate how the char looks and the graphics are normal like any other game and i thimk there are better graphic than wow.
what attracks u so much to wow that u cant leave or stop playing it. no matter how much i look at it i feel like line age is the same as wow but better looking char so why do u stick with one game if u can play many. and by the way how long do u think wow will last, not much unless the add a new thing every week.ppl get bored from the same thing over and over i. and by the way the game looks cool i think i found wht this game is like. but just with better graphics. Spellborn. (it looks the same but this game has better graphics) |

AION ftw! |

I am not sure if there is an MMO out there that can take down WoW. WoW is just an abnormality. WoW got huge quick from word of mouth and good game play. Most MMO's these days are Clones one way or another. Not a bad thing but does turn people away when the word clone comes out.

Originally posted by Thornbeard For starters there are many companies(people) who don't need to even know anyone that works for Blizzard to be able to get accurate figures of their subscriber bases, whether concurrent or peak or whatever, and calculate their potential earnings. As a side note and a funny way economies work, Asian players added a lot of numbers to WoW but isn't even a drop in the bucket for their earnings. They don't make enough to cover the cost of running the game from the Asian market. They pay by the hour to play, and if you convert the costs, it comes out to about .04 cents per hour. Yes, in Asia it costs about 4 pennies to play WoW for 1 hour. Secondly, STATISTICALLY speaking, almost 40 percent of users don't play WoW because it's a fun game. Weird sounding huh? Well the number one reason WoW is so successful is because Blizzard pretty much created the most successful business model their is right now. As for the fun factor itself is that most analysts agree that the key to the games popularity is that, ironically, Blizzard built this massively MULTI-PLAYER game to be extremely fun to play ALONE. And when they started, they didn't start with something other people couldn't think of. They simply, but in the end not-so-simply, took the best strategies and elements from games before it, tweaked those, and added some of their own. And it continues to be so successful because Blizzard is now a juggernaut who built up a tremendous reputation by only putting out high quality games that functioned well. Their only downfall with that was it took forever for them to release a game. With that they had age as well. Over the years they built up a ravenous hardcore gamer fanbase before WoW was even a thought in the player's head. One other thing I'd like to mention is currently they have the money and man power to make sure they are keeping a tight ship. The game works, and works well. It's solid, which accounts for keeping a lot of people playing. Just One Moar(formerly: How To Lose Your Life To An MMORPG) |

okay.... look... i know you guys all love WOW and stuff, but the problem is, actually try playing the game first before you beat it down lol? Watching a stupid youtube video that skips frames is not gonna even get close to seeing the actual game play. And this game... if you even get close to understanding how to train with quests, you would not even be grinding. You level up relatively fast in this game, and yes, even faster that WOW... the gameplay, I would say is actually easier to handle than WOW at times and seriously, to me, WOW and Prius is like about the same... Prius is still developing, and many of its features are not even out yet, so there is no point in beating down a game when it's half developed and just as good. Humor in WOW? well, Prius has those too, if you can actually read what they are saying, you would not see less humor than you see in WOW, so you guys, stop cooping up in ur WOW pothole and start looking out for other games too O_o... |

So...ignoring the laughable comment that this is a wow-killer...how is it diefferent from any other Asian MMO in a way that would make me want to play it?
Can't access the site the OP posted but I did some youtube poking and founda few veidoes. After watching them..
Yay. Anotehr Asian MMO. Once again there's calsses that are race/gender specific, with only a few head models to choose from. Boring combat, aside from the fact there are some stupidly oversized weapons and monsters.
I mean maybe I missed some cool content but uh...what is it? |
