I enjoyed twinking in EQ 2.  You didn't need a high level main, just some time and effort, anyone could do it.

One of the things which I enjoyed was all the high levels moaning because they rushed to end cap and had no one to pvp with, whilst a lot of us turned of the exp which lead to the high levels moaning more and insulting and flaming us on the forums.

I don't have a problem with twinking, but would like it if it was undercontrol for PVP.  Maybe in PVP it shouldn't exist, but other than that I think's it's all part of the game!!

To me this is just one of those game breaking game mechanics that I personally would rather have left out.  And for the people that will whine and complain and say there is nothing wrong with equiping your character with the best gear at that level, your absolutly right.. But there is a problem with being able to equip gear/enchants/buffs that were not intended for that level...  

In Anarchy Online A level 19 character could twink him self up so good that he could have the NTU space to run around with about 5 or so level 200 buffs  which lasted a hour a peice.. I won't even get into what that did to pvp when you had a level 19 twink with level 200+ HealoverTimes, Damage shields, Strength buffs, etc running around... I actually was able to make a level 59 doctor  twink that could solo group instances (bosses and all) all by himself... For those of you that play WOW just think of a level 39 priest that could SOLO SM Cath....

Thats just 2 examples there are many more (exp in WOW) where it is now twink city in PVP.. Not to mention it ruins the games enconomy...Since it seems like every piece of grear that has a 7-9 as the last number is like triple or more the price that it used to be prior to everyone and there daddy making twinks.

sorry but i don't see anything wrong there... you did not say anything about a level 20 having a level 50 pet. all you said was you could get some nice buffs. you are talking about PvE.

people don't do that. its stupid. they use their twinks for PvP. if someone was gonna solo SM CAth they would just ause thier main. not buff out and got all the enchants for thier 39 just so they could level to 40 and have them be no good.

i think someone brought this up about the economy before. but if you are buying these really nice items for you're level its plain stupid. since you are going to out grow them fairly shortly. they charge a lot for the twinks that will keep them forever. who cares if that nice blue for lvl 29 is 50G. you shouldn't care.

AoC is almost completely different than AO was. this is going to be a top game people play. im not saying AO doesn't have a lot but they are putting a lot of money into this i think they took the feedback people we're giving them from AO and used some of it in this game to make it better."

hey why don't just put level caps on buffs like they did in WoW. ZOMG problem solved. don't even bash others reading comprehension skills. obviously im not the only who didn't understand what you were talking about. L2 write comprehensively so you can convey your point.

You completely missed the point... Why am I not suprised...

I bet big money you never touched a game like EVE or AO and came straight into the MMO scene via WOW.  Hell im willing to bet most of you in this thread never knew what a MMO was untill WOW came out.

Im done arguing with you people about this is not going to change a thing you have no idea what it is that im trying to point out and put a end to.  Like I said most of you will not be happy untill the game basicly can play itself while you fat turds sit back and watch.

For the record I love PVP, I mean really love it.  But I can't stand when developers give their customers "I win buttons".   But I guess im just a lone voice in a big crowd so I will be ignored, No biggie. I learned long ago to adapt and overcome, and if twinks are what Funcom wants to give us then im going to make the then so be it.  I guess the good thing about AOC is that its pretty much FFA for anyone that is not in your grp or guild. Well thats good  news for me might not be for alot of you, since im going to gank everthing that moves.

People may have missed your point because you failed to express it in a rational, logical manner.  Yes I played WoW but it definitely was not the start of my MMO experience. I started with Ultima Online then went to SWG then to WoW and then over to EVE and finally my last MMO experience Tabula Rasa. So you fail on that insult. Now lets see what else you tried to attack with...

Play itself eh?  I'm sorry but I'm a huge fan of challenge and being able to have all the control I can have. I got mad when SWG was dumbed down and made easier. I got mad when WoW came out with the BC and made people who did not want the challenge of obtaining gear happier.  I adapted to the games and played every MMO until I became tired of it.

You obviously are weak and incapable of adapting as has already been previously proven by your ignorant comments about "I Win Buttons". There is no "I Win Button" in any of the situations you have used to your evidence. The game is set up so that you can make/play the same exact class/profession and obtain the same gear (unless they took that gear out of the game which they did not). Twinks are not "I Win Buttons" because anyone can twink and make it equal playing fields... You just like to ignore reason and logic and continue your whine-fest. By all means do not let any of the logic and reason that has already been given to you by me or any of the other people, posting on this thread, ruin your endless spree of bitching and moan about content you do not want to adapt to.
