Basically what I would like to see is a way for Enchanters to buy something like enchanting paper. You would then be able to enchant this paper with whatever enchantments you had available to you to make a scroll of enchantment or something like that. This scroll could then be put on the AH, or it could be traded or even sent via mail to another character. Whether or not you leveled up your enchanting skill would be determined at the point that you made the enchanting scroll. Someone in possession of the enchanting scroll would then just right click on it to enchant an item in their possesion that matched the enchant that was on the scroll. You might even make it so that an enchanting scroll could then be disenchanted with the possibility of getting some of the materials that were used in the enchantment process back.

This would make the enchanting profession very similar to the other crafting professions in that you end up with a tangible item that can be traded or put on the AH or even disenchanted. One nice benefit of this is that enchanters would then be able to mail the enchantment scrolls to their own alts or even put them in the guild bank making enchanting a much more viable profession even without the added benefit of being able to use the auction house.

This would also work for the new upcoming profession of inscriptions. They would create a scroll of inscription that would work pretty much exactly like a scroll of enchantment.
