How about this, All the Vets wait for SOE to lose SWG. and wait for a SWG2 or a KoToR MMO. and all the remaining NGE players can see whats its like to lose there game. SWG Vet still looking for a new game to call home.

i tried mass effect and it is boring as hell. and now my friend with a 360 has told me that bioware is going to start asking for $20 dollars for the new quest packs for mass effect? mass effect is a bad game much like the nge. and if they do a kotor or swg2 do you think they will make it pre-cu? no they will go after the 13 year olds on warcraft just like $OE does will all of their games.

They wouldn't listen.

SOE never has had an honest open meeting with the players, they always set preconditions that prevent any reasonable compromise from being reached.

 

Yup, they lied to all of us; and right to our faces. Not that I am terribly surprised, but I am extremely disappointed.

fishermage it is good to see you back on our side. i remember how you lost it for a few months after the soe fanfair and believed that the game would get better and now you see how soe are liars and thiefs.

no we have to show those making the next online star wars game that it is pre-cu or nothing.

Even if it turns out that Bioware is working on a new SW MMO, I'm afraid that it will be yet another boring linear "story telling" game. While a linear game might be ok for single player games it is NOT for a MMO imho.

Only a pre-CU-like skill based sandbox game will get me back!

I know you'll all probably say never in a million years , but hey you know sometimes in an arguement one side or the other  make the first move.

Perhaps SOE need some sort of indication that it will be worthwhile putting the game back the way it was, I was around pre NGE and was only a casual player, but they are trying with every update to make things right and they have conceded they screwed up. So perhaps a little give and take maybe if they saw everyone coming back then change from within could be a distinct possibility .

As much as I admire your enthusiasm, I've been down that road before and will not be suckered in again.  If SOE were the only MMO company in the market today, I would stop playing MMOs.  They've lost me as a customer and nothing they say or do will ever inspire me to play one of their games again.
