Maybe just maybe if you guys all resubbed and SOe knew about it then you guys could change things from within,and if SOE saw you all coming back then maybe they would relent and start to put things right. I know you'll all probably say never in a million years , but hey you know sometimes in an arguement one side or the other make the first move. Perhaps SOE need some sort of indication that it will be worthwhile putting the game back the way it was, I was around pre NGE and was only a casual player, but they are trying with every update to make things right and they have conceded they screwed up. So perhaps a little give and take maybe if they saw everyone coming back then change from within could be a distinct possibility . and please dont flame me its just an idea |

I'm guessing you don't know the history behind the NGE and why most of the vets left. The SWG developers actually came out and said on the forums that they didn't want the older vets to hang around, and they they were trying to hit a new audience of players. And they've already said that they will never change the NGE system, so there's no point. So change just isn't going to happen. And we all know it. |

we have told the devs that we will only come back if they bring in classic servers or do a rollback to the pre-cu game. we do not like the nge. we do not want to play the nge. |

Won't work, SOE would just interpret it as people finally accepting the NGE changes, and wouldn't listen to requests for rollback.

SOE has proven to me, through SWG, that the potential customer is more valuble to them then their current subscribers. As proof I'll point out to you that both Beast Master and expertese were attempts to bring back past subscribers, and not really for the benefit of the current playerbase. Even on the official forums we see talk of how SOE is bringing back elements of the past. Why would they do this if they already have your sunscription and your money? |

Already tried that, and failed. Why do you think I stayed around as long as I did, attended the summits, etc? They wouldn't listen. SOE never has had an honest open meeting with the players, they always set preconditions that prevent any reasonable compromise from being reached.
