I've been out of WoW for about a year, just returning now for shits and giggles.  After logging into my old server (an RPPVP server) I noticed a pvp disable/enable option.  Did they really make pvp optional on these servers?  Can you really choose not to be flagged at all times outside of the low level areas?  If so, I will be re-rolling on a real pvp server, unless of course they made it optional there too...

That flag is just for non contested zones,.It allows the other faction to attack you if they want.

Ahhhh, that's right!  It's amazing how many little features I forgot about in a year.  Well in that case it's on like Donkey Kong!
