They are learning that these chapter updates are better than charging the subscriber a fee for an expansion. For the SWG community I think that is the right direction. I would like to see monthly updates for the space and ground game for the SWG community now that they have an established dev team in place. They still have major issues to fix such as a targeting system, lag, and rubber banding with the NGE. In addition they need to establish a better UI. I can only hope that they continue to add "new" content such as "new sub professions" to the game. They could add a classic server “as is” pre cu or even allow a certain "project" to be the classic server. I have to also look at how Jump to Light Speed is not a finished game since it is modeled directly after many aspects of "Free Lancer" that were never finished. Well back to the super cluster of Eve. |

Yeh, blow up 2025 ships in order to get a deed. Whoop. De. Do. I was gonna re-sub for a month to check out RP opportunities on the new station, and try out the new ships, but I'll pass. Gone are the days where this kind of carrot-on-a-stick content entertained me. Everything 'cool' has to be collections now, which to me is like getting your leg amputated with a plastic cutlery set. In any case, all the best to those that still like this kind of thing. I've come to the realisation that those good old times I had in SWG are no longer coming back, so best to try and find new ones on other horizons. |

No, that still has not been fixed. Neither have teleporting mobs, and a (shortening) list of other stuff that has been there since launch. |

I like to see the new stuff, but what I would like to see more of is BUG FIXING. Then add the new stuff.

Originally posted by eagle4x4 rubber banding was there pre-CU too. It used to bug the hell out of me, but was really only prevalent after they introduced speeders IIRC. Been a long time since those days though... I still remember running to all my missions and having crappy terrain negotiation skills. |

As of the moment i dont notice any rubberbanding in game, except for some warping of npcs if they get stuck, pulled away etc. Oh and the classic rubberband if you exit your vehicle too fast. |

Once again a classic moment for SOE and once again its not good. The patch has been released too soon (what isn't over there?). Heck, people were still testing on TC and posting feedback about issues but SOE decides to throw it Live.. Seems they havent learned much: they did the same (started with it really) in 2003 and now still go that path... Learned from the mistakes eh Mr. Smedley? I don't think so. |

Originally posted by ObraikI have to agree with Obraik, The content on the whole is sound in this Chapter. The devs even got carbines working again. The level of pre-tested to release content is far better than the past efforts that were rushed. This complaint was warrented a year and half ago but the current team is required to produce bug free new features while tackling legacy bugs and code. Mr. Wizard is digging for old carrots to feed the hate and they are running thin. If he wants something to use, try the targeting system and animations. Those are scheduled for work in the coming year. |
