Since the Torp changes the Raven is a potentially deadly PVP ship now, its a tight fitting because of CPU and the PG usage of siege launchers and you will need a target painter to increase the damage output but its worth it due to no falloff or tracking problems that turret ships have. This is a purely gang setup never fly it solo.

High power slots

6x Siege launchers

(If you can get neuts or shield/armour reps to fit do so otherwise leave 2 slots empty)

Medium power slots

1x XL Shield booster

1x Heavy capacitor booster with 800 charges

1x Target painter

1x 100MN Microwarpdrive

2x Invulnerable fields

Low power slots

3x Ballistic control system

2x Power diagnostic system or Reactor controls

Drones

Misc Drones, but personally I like ECM drones or fill it with light scout drones

Rigs

3x Core defense field extenders or power grid/cap rigs so you can fit neuts in the high slots

Again, I must question the wisdom of fitting a shield rep, especially an 'overlarge' one on a setup that's most likely going to end 'up close and personal' with the enemy. Cap management might be a problem, and you could fit an extender/EW with much lower PG and CPU requirements, I think.

However, I must point out that I haven't piloted Drake or Raven, and my experience in shield-tanking IS second-hand. None of my comments are meant as crushing criticism, but merely as a quiestion-raiser and clarifying.

The active shield repping works well because of the massive boost the XL booster gives, its half the cycle time of armour reps and gives the boost at the start of the cycle and you can run it as long as you have cap charges while the field extenders give the HP buffer you need but they use no PG or cap.

Small gang fights are usually short and brutal so short duration massive boosts work fine, but with all shield tanks you lose tackle mods. EW on unbonused ships is largely ineffective now so the target painter is all the EW you need.

This setup is purely for DPS in gangs though and not much use for anything else but with decent skills and good mods you can rival a Blaster fit Megathron for damage output.
