As a fellow Canadian, I agree, it is stupid. We are a lot more liberal than the States when it comes to both profanity and sexuality in various forms of media. On the radio a lot of songs run uncensored, on TV we have far more lax rules about what is appropriate, and our film ratings board treats sex in a much healthier way.

Still, we will be stuck with the censored North American version, despite the fact that in Canada nudity, profanity, and sex would only earn it an "M" rating.

Ah well, such is the price living right by the "leader of the free world" who, for all of its boasts of the importance of freedom, cannot tolerate something as natural as sexuality.

So that's whats wrong with you folks up there?

Never the less, perhaps you can play the EU version instead?  Or will they be restricting players access based on where they live like WOW does?  I sort of hate that more.

I'll call shenanigans on this statement. I'm willing to bet just as many European children get access to games that they shouldn't (except for maybe in Germany, where no one appears to have access to much)

Personally i don't care whether the game has nudity in it or not. But i think people shouldn't be bothered with nudity lol; I look at human bodies from an artistic standpoint (I'm an artist lol), not for arousal. If they censor the nakedness, fine, if they don't, fine lol. Either way, you're going to play the game if you really want to play it.

If they censor the boobs in the US version I will not be playing, I’m 37 years old, and a long time Conan fan, and I hate censorship, so just on principle I will not be giving them my money, if they can’t stand up for their vision of the game then I’m not interested.

Sorry, but with you being 37, I would think that a storyline, combat system, animation quality, graphics, etc. etc. would be worth more than a couple areolas on a female model. 

Well i aint getting worked up yet over it. I can however see what will also be comming, First the US gets the boobs censored out, then the EU version probably get the blood and severed limbs censored out. Yet the game even with these gone will still get an adult rating for sod all.

They mentioned just removing the nipples for the US which completely freaks me out, I’m very against body mutilation. 

It’s not the lack of nudity the upsets me, it’s that they are letting themselves get pushed around.  Absolutely not a single reason why they could not have an AO US version – which was download only.
