Whenever you pay something with a credit card you can dispute the charge.  Most banks will not give you much hassle once you tell them you were wrongly billed.  Much easier to just call the bank and get the charge reversed than dealing with these yahoos.  The bank can also easily flag any further charges from them.  Problem solved.

I don't get put on hold talking to my bank, they stress customer relations.  Keep that in mind when dealing with any inappropriate billing from anyone.  You are far more likely to get a good result dealing with the bank.

*cough* Considering this is the first I've heard of the problems being this widespread, they're doing GREAT from a PR-point-of-view

Seriously, I hope as much as you guys that the issues get solved, so that *everyone* can enjoy the game.

I got so much
trouble on my mind
Refuse to lose.

I only can say. Next time listen to what other and wiser people say. Most of the times so called "haters" are not people that hate the game just because. But the people that speak with wisdom and experience.

When i stated on this forums that i do not like the subscription idea. It was not because i find 10$ is much, but exactly because of this sort of potential problems.

I would be 100 more happy if they charged for aditional content in form of expansions.

That way you would know exactly what you are paying for.

This way you are buying cat in a sac (because you dont know what this additional content will be, when it will come, and how much of it)

And for other people saying that subscription in HGL is way more fair than GW way.

At least in GW - expansion was substential and always brought lot of new content and classes - so you knew exactly what and why you are paying.

Depends. Not all are. Some people rant just to rant, without giving any reasons whatsoever as to why 'the game sucks'. I tend to not take them seriously. For all I know, they hate the game with a passion because 'you can't jump'.

You're giving a good reason: you don't like the subscription model. I disagree with that, and it's my money I'm going to spend on something *I* think is worth. Each to his own, in that case. However, what you state here above is NOT a good reason, namely 'potential problems'. The problems aren't even there yet.

When i stated on this forums that i do not like the subscription idea. It was not because i find 10$ is much, but exactly because of this sort of potential problems. --You predicted that specifically this game would outsource their billing to a company that doesn't do it's job well, where the dozens of other pay-to-play games didn't have the issue? With wisdom and experience?

I would be 100 more happy if they charged for aditional content in form of expansions. --"They" wouldn't. And considering "they" have the final say...

That way you would know exactly what you are paying for. --because now you're forced at gunpoint to not wait for the actual content updates.

This way you are buying cat in a sac (because you dont know what this additional content will be, when it will come, and how much of it) --Yea, it's not like they stated their intentions

And for other people saying that subscription in HGL is way more fair than GW way. At least in GW - expansion was substential and always brought lot of new content and classes - so you knew exactly what and why you are paying. --Which would be a valid point, except I (and many others with me) am not willing to pay for GW while I am willing to pay for HGL. Monthly.

There. All pretty colory.

The billing problems are there. In fact such serious billing problems were not seen in long time.

But i do not blame FLS - it is simply a fact of online payment. There is always a risk.

Paying for expansions as every other "non greed" based company does , is much better way

both for user and developer. And i am sure EA will figure this out very very soon - but to late

Now, they are, yes. But they weren't there before the game got released, and you make it sound like people warned others for this disaster. Which is silly. Because at THAT point in time, before the game was released, the problems didn't even exist yet. To me, that's the same category of people who rant just to rant, without giving any solid reasons why.

There is something called "Educated guess"

Although in this case nobody really suspected a billing fiasco. It is unfair to say I did...I was surprised as everyone else.

I usually take a look at a poster's history to see if they can manage an 'educated guess'. 90% however, rant about EVERY game, before it's out and after. But sure...They are bound to hit the jackpot SOME day with their educated guess.
