inside a SG base. I think the vet reward Arachnos/Longbow Flyer are meant for that purpose, however they're just static props without any functionality.
Other than that the game is not designed for vehicles.
All player entities are only allowed to take up so much space in the game world, mostly not to block off other players from contacts or train doors.
For Wentworth/BM and to enter danger zones we need to talk to NPCs as well.
There would have to be a strict limitation where vehicles can be popped out. Most enemies are just standing around on sideways etc., with vehicles this could turn into a GTA thing where everyone would steamroll them with their personal batmobile. I admit that could make for some fun though
Super Speed: I'd change this power in that we could actually run on water instead of the fast crawl animation.
Superjump: This should make you dip under water for a bit before bouncing off again, but then we don't have diving either, which is another limitation to travelling.
Teleport: Tricky when stuff is blocking line of sight. And we can only teleport at max range or onto geometry and not around corners. This power is extremely limited by the engine.
Swinging was suggested a couple of times. To me it feels just like an inverted Superjump.
Instead of adding a new travel power or vehicles, I'd rather go for the more-gadgets approach.
Hoverboard, mini-scooter, parachutes in addition to what we already have .. Zero-G pack, jetpack ...

I could totally see this being a bonus pack. For flight animations: jet pack, belt-copter, jet belt, maybe some sort of anti-grav bubble/forcefield. For super jump: booster pack, belt jets again, the anti-grav field, jet boots, maybe. For teleport, some sort of "switch" animation - activating a switch on a belt or guantlet, maybe something like the PPD radio or invent animations but looks like a zone map.
and I hate to mention it, but anyone else hear that CO is gonna have an ice slide power?

Swinging, Tunneling, Vehicles/Living Animals (horses, tigers, etc.) would be cool traveling powers.
