I can't seem to find any info on the main website.  I'm waiting for the game to come out.  Could someone give what classes are available to choose, and a small summary pros/cons of each?

Brief summary of the classes.

Templar Classes:

Guardian - Pretty much a meatshield that can take alot of damage and dish some damage out as well.

Blademaster - Uses sword to dish out tons of damage. Does more damage than a Guardian.

Cabalist Classes:

Summoner - Can summon minions such as elementals, carnegor, witch doctor and reaper. Uses weapons such as flame throwers, rifles and pistols.

Evoker - Pretty much a caster class that uses elements such as fire and spectral to damage its foes.

Hunter classes: These classes can be played in either 1st or 3rd person view

Marksman- Ranged combat. Can use a sniper rifle and several stances such as tactical stance and sniper mode to dish out damage. They also can use grenades that is aoe damage.

Engineer - Ranged combat. Uses technology such as inhibitor bots, rocket bots and drones to damage foes. The class can equip rocket launchers,pistols and use grenades.

Check out hellgate guru or the hellgate london site that incgamers made.    Lots of info at both, just google for them or other sites and you should find lots more info then someone is going to take the time to post here.

Saint - Actually all classes except Blademaster and Guardian can use 1st person view. 

Actually, any class without a melee weapon equipped can use FP.  Kinda sucks to be them.

I played the demo... why would one want to play 1st person 3rd person looks so cool,??

It's a different perspective. You see through the eyes of your character. I actually prefer the 1st person view.

First person is really really good for a marksman with a sniper rifle in his sniper stance.
