Ok...from what has been spoken of constantly, and the fact that people have an issue believing this would be a good MMO... My thought is...this would be a perfect Xbox 360 title First - I was able to remap the Xbox 360 controller to play this game flawlessly without needing to ever use the keyboard again Second - People have issues claiming this title is worth 15 a month. I also agree. Enough does not exist to make it worth this much...but, it would be worth an Xbox live Gold Membership.. Third - Due to it's heavy instanced server setups, the Xbox live lobby system would work well, but at the same point, a person could just log in solo... Fourth - Use Xbox lives voice chat features, this means NC Soft does not need to run it's own Voice Chat servers, cut overhead costs, and lag issues which always exists when Voice Chat servers are implemented with MMO's (LOTRO is a major one...as when Voice is used, someone always has an issue) Ok...lets get this thought rolling...anyone have any opinions, or can show why this could NOT work? (don't use the typing argument, as the new chatpad was introduced, and FFXI also is workable on the 360) Cheers! |

I think it'd probably do a lot better on x360.
Only problem is I thought recently NCSoft made a huge deal with Playstation and they were going to port their games exclusivly onto PS3.
Being as that is said, port onto PS3???

Interesting read...and only a couple of titles strike me as console material...TR and CoH/CoV.. Thoughts anyone? (I would still be ok with a Sixaxxis controller...TR is perfect for a controller is what it boils down to) Cheers! |

Well I have a PS3............
If TR gets ported to it and there is a monthly fee involved then I would not play it. I played it in closed beta for quite some time and it just couldnt hold my attention. Paying 60 dollars for it and then a monthly fee is just unthinkable. There are certainly more promising games like the Agency coming out on the PS3 and I think I will try those.

Thoughts? |
