 I didnt take the time to read through all the posts but, I liked 12Sky alot which if Im not mistaken is still in open beta?

World of warcraft. Then after it became it went to crap with all the arena bs. Use to be fun not caring and raiding citys and everyone raiding Ratchet. Now there's no more raiding so the pvp aspect of wow went to shit you could say, in my eyes. But ye WoW was probably the best beta I tested.

Right now Exteel from NCsoft is in open beta and i'm liking that alot. I'm also playing Pirates Of The Burning Sea wich is in closed beta.

rose online was prolly my most enjoyable beta, though i didn't exactly think it was great.

since i quit eq a couple summers ago, i've joined lots of betas, and just haven't really caught on with any of them.  i've tried several free trials as well with the same results, getting bored after a few lvls.

recently i was in the beyond protocol beta, best way to describe it i think would be starcraft city builder in an eve online universe.  also doing the tabula rasa, seems decent though laggy, free trial and just finished downloading pirates of the burning sea beta.

I had the most fun in the LotRO open beta because it was very complete and most of the bugs that remained were not annoying but often hilarious.

That's just an example where like, animals would run into barriers and just stop moving. I had many pictures of animals simply running into the side of rocks and there would be hoards of them stuck there, but unfortunately they were all on my old hard drive which burned up.

Guild Wars was a great Beta. Believe it or not Auto Assault had a decent open beta. Too bad the game bit after release lol.

my vote would go for SWG beta believe it or not.. It had alot of bugs BUT the game was extremly different and there was soo much anticipation of the whole how to become a jedi thing... SWG open beta as well as closed beta was a blast
