Age of Armour starts Closed beta 2 tonight in 6:30 (30 minutes from now).  I didn't participate in closed beta 1 but from what the forums say on the site, it seems pretty neat.  It is a gundam style mmorpg.  I do believe there is flying and of course upgrading parts.  I think its your typical mmo but done from a gundam perspective. 

I will edit this post later tonight when I actually play the game to give more specific details.  For now, all you can go on is that it is a new different mmorpg based around gundam fighters.

The best download (the client is 1 gig) can be found at http://cache2.spawnpoint.com/files/AOAEngBetaTest2nd.exe.  I hit the full 1200kb a sec with a downloader program with my 10 meg connection so its a good place to go for max speed.

this looks pretty cool, looks alot like transformers too lol and everyone knows transformers rock. Btw, its not so much Gundam, its more a transformers type mech thing. though its kinda both lol.

Thanks for the linkage. The official site download is a no-go and Filefront is slow. Saved me a lot of time (and frustration due to my shaky connection today.)

ermm... isn't transformers pretty much mech since they are big robots? heh don't try to argue with me so yea... the game looks really good but the sad thing is i dun think my computer can handle the game :P but ima try it out anyway.

Grrrr, got to 98% (900+meg) of the download from filefront and it failed.  I can't be bothered wasting that much of my quota again, so if anyone wants a beta key . . .

Do not bother with this game. It does not use keys, or even allow you to make your own account. You enter a little code like in most forums to confirm your not a bot. Then it generates some random user code and pass. This has caused duplicate accounts, account sharing (unwanted) and most of the accounts to not even function. This, added to the lack of any real support at all makes this game already unplayable, and one for the back burner. Its not in beta, its in early alpha.

Very very confusing game so far.  I love a lot of the games released by non english speaking designers,  but please please please spend a little more time in your text translation if you're going to release in North America.  And please,  for the love of God,  stop making crafting so dang confusing.  I play these games to run around,  kill stuff and build my character up.  Not to read walls of text explaining how to socket my rocket pack so I can go zoom zoom faster.  I feel like a dyslexic hillbilly at a spelling bee.....LOST and CONFUSED !!

Among the worst MMO's I have ever played.  It's 2007, you should at the very least have slightly better textures.

wow!! i'v read already a lot of bad things about this game, still i'm going to give it a try for myself... i'm scard...haha
