The game does look pretty mediocre and i do feel like alot of things will seem tacked on like diplomacy was in Vanguard. However i'm not going to judge the game until i get the chance to play it. |

I'm not so sure moostown, not so sure at all. Have you seen any of the gameplay videos, it has something that WAR and AoC does not have. It has something players have been crying for. It is this: When you hit a mob or get hit by a mob, the mobs and avatars react based on where they have been hit. Not your standard one animation hitback all mmos have enjoyed using pre-rendered animation frames. Gods and Heroes looks like all the creatures inhabiting the world are dynamic models with real skeltons - that makes it worthy of respect alone, extra kudos as the have not been touting it as a major selling point (non-whoreing). slide |

Its odd that this video has no shadows at all, yet all the screen shots (Here and other places) have very stenciled shadows in them.
Example: From the video/article.
Me thinks, the game dosnt run very well with shadows on. ---------- "No, your wrong.." - Random user #123 "Hello person posting on a site specifically for MMO's in a thread on a sub forum specifically for a particular game talking about meta features and making comparisons to other titles in the genre, and their meta features. How are you?" -Me |
