Those who find timesinks enjoyable need medical attention.
Definantly looking forward to this game, as long as i can move my ship freely like good ol space shooters is all i care about.

It does utilize near real physics. You can download the current version and try it out offline to see.

It's a good way to try the old one.

The near real physic is hard for the first time, but nice :) and i think that prepare yourself to JGE :p

That's the thing, they're making this new version more accessible to a wider audience by making it a bit easier to jump in the cockpit and fly off into space without TOO much effort, yet maintaining/improving all the things that made the original a great space MMO to begin with. Before you dl the old JG Version be warned => It does not work with Vista

I hope Netdevil has the JGE beta set to run on Vista.

I was in the orginal JG beta and loved the game. Only big problem, the universe was too small. If JG's universe had been close to the size of the one in Eve, it would of been a great game.

Nah, the size of the univers in JGC was just fine. It was the lack of publishing that was the problem. With what... about 300 players playing at a time in its peek... the ammount of space we had was more then plenty. Not to mention how much of a pain it was to haul ff's outta Aman to Sol space.

The original Jumpgate runs on Vista. Why wouldnt Jumpgate Evolution have that option. Of course it will run on Vista aswell.
