Not playing anything at the moment though I'm starting to crave WOW again. But sadly I just can't bring myself to play it unless I can get a fresh start. Grrrr, which sucks because there are still quite a few lower pop realms so it might be awhile before a new one comes out.

Anyone else waiting for them to make a new server?

"I haven''t a particle of confidence in a man who has no redeeming petty vices."

I know how unpopular wanting a new server is on the WoW forums, but yes, I am in the same exact boat.

I was playing WoW for sometime, quit to try LOTRO, quit that a month later and re-joined WoW only to quit after 1 month again.

I still check the General forums daily to see if there's an announcement, even though in my heart I know it will never happen.

If they announce they are going to merge all the dying servers, then and only then could I see it plausible.

I don't have that Problem, but I know where you're coming from. I don't like the feeling of always being behind the others... I mean I'm by no means any powegamer or anything, but I dunno, it feels wrong to start two months later than everybody else or something...

After I left WoW and tried out other MMORPGs, this feeling always killed the Game for me. Auto Assault, CoX, even MapleStory and whatnot...

Seems like I can't get over it, although I don't even want to be first in anything, like the first to reach maxlvl or so, I just take it slowly...but only if I start with everyone else

One of many reasons why I'll pre-Order WAR and play it from Day 1 ^_^

Actually though if you look at the oceanic realms they are getting crowded, they will soon have to release a new realm for them... but it's gonna be flooded with US players if they don't also release new US realms at the same time... so yea I dunno what's gonna happen with that.

What's really crazy is for some reason I'm kinda wanting to make a Resto Druid

Trust me, there's nothing special about having a fresh start on new servers.  I've did it multiple times, and it always ends up the same.  My biggest regret in WoW was NOT sticking with my first server.

I don't understand why you guys want a new server. Just start a new char on an existing server. They were releasing new servers to keep up with the rising population, but now that the mass influx of gamers into WoW has settled they are now trying to even up the populations on most servers. My real life friend just joined the game and he is getting groups easily, I just can't see why they would need to release new servers and why you guys even want new servers.

hmmm, I guess the reasons I want a new server is:

 - Being part of the community from day 1 really appeals to me.

- I want to have tons of people to group with. I want to run deadmines 10 times in one night, on existing servers it's a struggle to find groups for low level instances, unless you want a 70 to EZmode you through it (no thanks)

I dunno, I just cannot bring myself to play WOW again unless I can get a fresh start. Seeing as how the only other mmorpg that interests me is WAR, it would be nice to have WOW as a time killer until  WAR is released in 2008

finding good groups is hard enough with the servers now.  opening new servers would only spread the population out even more.

yeah but now you have to level 10 more levels, isn't that a bit of a deterrant from starting a new character on a new server?  I have a priest alt up to lvl 49 and it just sucks ass knowing that  have 21 levels to go and not 11, including 10-12 levels in outland which I hate.

Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?
if I were to kill a titan tomorrow and no CCP employees showed up to say grats I would petition it.
Waiting for: the next MMO that lets me make this macro
if hp < 30 then CastSpell("heal") SpellTargetUnit("player") else CastSpell("smite") end

I've got back to WoW now after a crap load of peer pressure. I know a whole squad that i met playing other games started it up and a few RL friends went with them so I decided to give it another swing. It's taking me forever to get one of my level 60s to 70 because i just can't stand outlands. I can't seem to do it unless i have max rest, which takes ten days so I play about ev
