Personally, I'd just wait for the english version, it might be out by the time you finish setting up the chinese version with translation patch anyway.

well the english open beta is coming out within the next 2 weeks or so, so in my opinion its better to wait for that to come out

i downloaded the game and translation. Cubizone doenst work

But when i register at login screen they send me to levelup games. So does the translation take me to PH server or what??

Please anyone who has 2 accounts and only uses one please let me borrow it :)

I had the same problem, i fixed it by getting a Yahoo e-mail. Should work.

I downloaded Perfect World from FileFront. It took me 45 minutes to download the game and the patches. I used google-mail(GMail) in order to get an account on Cubizone wich worked fine. I then installed the game as I downloaded the patches 1-9 from the link. I noticed there is 3 files within that link:

WanMei-CN-MY-Patch1-9.zip
WanMei-CN-MY-Patch8-9.zip
WanMei-CN-MY-Patch10-11.zip

By reading all posted posts i've came to an understanding that I am only supposed to download WanMei-CN-MY-Patch1-9.zip I first didn't know how to use the patches, so I started the game and it patched itself, I created a new character and entered the game. When I entered the game a error comes up, it says something like !"£232½34.,-=9 and then a button under the text saying OK, this happend as said after I created the character and entered the game so that i can see my character in the game world, before I got the chance to move or do anything the error comes up. So i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, now I have installed it again and I am about to patch it, tho i wont do it if I don't get a clear answer if I should use WanMei-CN-MY-Patch1-9.zip only or if I am supposed to use any of the other two patch zip's.

After I got this clear I patch it and then place the english patch in the game folder where I installed the game, correct me if I am wrong. I know the english patch works for me since I used it like I just mentioned on how and this I did after the first attempt to play the game.

EDIT: I just noticed that I seem to not be able to stop the auto-update. I do not know how I can manually patch the game when the button for manual patching is gray wich means i cannot touch it. If the game update I will not be able to use the WanMei-CN-MY-Patch1-9.zip

I have windows XP Home Edition with a very fast computer.
I DO NOT have windows VISTA.

For you others out there wich comes from US / EU do we have a guild ingame? I would like to join it if so.

I've been wanting to play this game for a long time now and was excited to hear about the english patch for the malaysia version. Though I'm having some problems starting the game. I've installed and patched the game just fine and added in the english patch with no problems. I've created my character with no problem but when I enter the game I get this:

Anyone else with this problem and know how to solve it? Anything would be of help :]

Really need East Asian characters installed on my Pc to play ?
