Perfect World

Woo! I'm in. I just can't stop making alts (I'm an altaholic). Hrm... I wonder which server I'm on. Well, for some reason I'm having issues trying to figure out which server I'm on.  For some reason I select a server and it never seems to be the same one.... or something.

*sigh*

I know, I know... Should be simple, but I just can't tell which one my characters are on. Any simple way to figure it out?

Go to System related (Bottom right) --> system settings --> BGM (Background Music) its a scroll bar, that you can adjust.

ok, i got the english patch installed now and playing , i got ithe patch from the main english perfect world website but a lot of the player names above the characters are still in chinese, this isnt a big deal sense the english game is supposed to come out within the next couple weeks but i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if anyone knew how to fix it?

Hehehe, that's a funny one.

The Chinese player names are displayed in Chinese, yes, they aren't part of the game script so they aren't translated. Better to keep them so than to display some gibberish text with no meaning.

Hey, I'm trying to download the stuff but I keep getting corrupt file messages, also when I try to get the file off the torrent there aren't any seeders :( Could somebody please tell me what I need to do or can they please get their torrent running so I can leech? Thanks in advanced for any help you can give me :D

Ok, so I've dled everything, put the patch 1-9 in the Perfect World Program Files folder, followed all the instructions for the english patch, dled the update once I opened the game client...and now I've got problems. 

When I open the game to play it, it doesn't show ANY words whatsoever...except for confirm, and sometimes not even that.  All the buttons I'm supposed to click are empty.  Also, where I'm assuming you have to connect to a server....there is nothing available. 

I'm really confused, I thought I dled it all correctly, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me please?

Ok. I downloaded everything, but the updates aren`t working and I have no idea whats wrong, seeing as all the error messages are in Asian. Basically I try to verify the client, it sits there for a few minutes, then I get an error message and I'm back to square one.

Can I put the english patch on then do the others so I can find out what the error message says?

this was easy for me, i dled everything, installed it without the east asian character support by using the guide, how do the characters being in chinese help reduce confusion? after that i got the 1-9 patch from filefront... double clicked on it w/o unzipping and that installed.

then i extraced the english patch, and dropped it into my c:\program files\perfect world and replaced everything.

opened the patcher and its all in english. now if the cubizone site was up i could register ~ o well no one is playing i guess? ... i just want to see. it is 4 45 am ... but thats here in the states.
