I thought i would give this game a go can any 1 suggest a good class that is easy to adapt to.

Go on Starsider, best server that I have played on.  Best community.  I tried several others, including Bria, which is popular.

Well, hate to say it, probably Jedi.  But, with Chapter 6, they changed that.  So, it is somewhat hard to say.  If you want to solo a lot, you will want to go Spy.  I play a Medic now, which is fun, but I also have a Jedi.  I will go through them and think about it.  It depends on what you want to play.  You could also go entertainer and easily level up too....

For a ranged profession, I'd suggest Bounty Hunter as a profession to pick to get used to things.  You get a few snares, debuffs and a decent array of high damage specials which can be somewhat useful :)

Why ask for advice now when you're ignoring the best advice available: stay away from SWG until it is purified

For 1 i never listen to negative advice when it comes to me trying a game i like to be my own judge was just hoping to get some friendly positive responses for which i have so thx to all who have been kind enough to help.

i think you'd adapt fine to any of them, class really depends most on what style of game play you prefer.

personally.. i always prefer an underdog class, and overcoming it's shortcomings and flaws.

I just respecd to spy and i enjoy it quite a lot.

You can be a melee or ranged quite efficiently, plus you get the ability to stealth, debuffs and great soloing ability.

o ya and you can steal

I haven't tried it with pvp yet though.

Bounty Hunter is the best option for the beginning. It allows a wide range of playstyles nowadays.

Furthermore, if you get the feeling with that you can earn the good bounties out there. I became millionaire with this profession.
