well I guess the question was is POTBS going with Sony? Yes. It should be fine as Sony does'nt seem to have control of the game development in any way. And Sony should be very good at the distribution. I just have had billing issue's with Sony time and time again, with no, I mean absolutley no, customer service on Sony's part. So I am hopeful for the game and it should be wonderful, yet due to the sony involvment, I, for one, will never know.

Why the hell do SOE haters spam forums of all games that are published by SOE? If you don't like the company go look up some other mmos, just because you hate SOE dosen't mean you have to convince everybody else that SOE is bad. Sheesh and I was an SWG player too and i'm tired of this nonsense.

PotBS is being made by Flying Labs software. SOE is merely publishing the game. This means that Flying Labs can still do whatever they want with the game. SOE is in charge of the publicity, marketing and the billing. If you hate this game, then you are hating a game that Flying Labs software made, not SOE.

Buying and subscribing to this game does benefit SOE in a roundabout way. The longer this game stays in business, the longer Flying Labs will be paying SOE for their services. Big deal. So SOE is publishing the game, they are good at publishing titles and have had loads of success in the past. Just because some people think SOE caused SWG to turn into a pile of trash they have to hate the company forever?

Actually no I stopped playing MMOs all together after playing a crapload of free ones and a good number of monthly fee ones, and it turns out SOE isn't the problem, the entire MMO genre is made up of a formula which is getting too simplistic. There are a lot of  new innovative mmos that use parts of this formula, but add a great deal of originality making them great  and i'm thinking mmos have potential as of 2007 and may go into mainstream gaming. I couldn't careless whether a company screwed me over or not if they make a masterpiece I will play it. I won't  hold a grudge just to miss out while others have a good time playing their game.

Outstanding, I think every one of us is involved with the MMO industry in form of another, be it business, financing, service and support, development, costumer, testers, analysts, human resources, IT administration, etc.

Stating a fact over a perception of user postings, of which multiple accounts can belong to one entity, doesn't hold salt.

Ok, so let me get this right, my postings are silly, but true.  Excellent, I understand why then you would not want to disprove yourself.

Defining reality to a gamer community; people who are very thoughtful, creative and imaginative is not possible.

Someone at FLS needs to ask Turbine and current players of Asheron's Call how well Sony Station Publishing handled the marketing and distribution of the Throne of Destiny expansion for AC.
