Ruin Online

I am not going to bash this game as it is not yet finished.  However, it is the first game (beta or otherwise) that I actually seperated my Point-of-view from my avatar.  To all of those people who are as excited about a skill based classless non-fantasy based, yet not in space, MMORPG, give this one a little more time.  Or, wait for Fallen Earth, which is my opinion seems to be shaping up a bit more polished.  These two games, (being post-apocalyptic) are the ones that I am most eagerly anticipating.

This game does sound intereseting the only big problem i see with it is the probablity of there being very little role-play. Thats one of the major things I am concerend of about this game and I hope it is not underlooked.

Also im hoping that they eventually include city-building in which factions can build cities on certain lands and maybe colonies in space

contested/player controlled areas will play a very large part of the game

-as well as areas policed -completely- by players  **anti hugg zones**

there are a bunch of qwests currently in game,and more will be coming

-there will also be very serious storyline qwests,as well as epic/huge/difficult qwests require completion to participate in the endgame areas

possibility already in place for crafting/tradeskill action,all they need is input

-we have npcs which you could bring item x+y+z to and get reward item w00t

-they will most likely develope a more intense and serious tradeskill system in addition to what can be done NOW

i cant give away deep secrets,but they are planning some serious stuff in the future

the best advice i can give you is

1>read the forums aaaaalllllll of it...soak UP the info !! :)

2>post suggestions,ideas, and input

becuz believe it or not..they read the forums..they take in the input..then they will find a way to twist your suggestions into somthing evil that will fit in with their overall plan for ruins universe :)

ALOT of the stuff discussed on the forums is going into game,i just cant give you specifics

-but that might be cuz im evil,and i want your brain to melt from suspense :) hahaha
