simple little question what do you think is the most popular item or group of items in the Auction house.
i would probably say something like leather. |

Cloth.
Not sure exactly which cloth type, possibly netherweave with so many people at max level |

Generally people don't realize that on the AH.. the most common grind loots (the lower level grind mats for professions) are the most popular and although they don't sell for 500g a unit... within a few days of AH hordeing(baddum-ching!) grinding you can make just as much off of Cloth, Wool, Silk(especially), Copper, and tin.. while sometimes silver.
The MOST popular on populated servers however, is probably cloth. As it used to grind up low-level Tailor and low/med-low first aid. Then comes silk... which covers a large portion of items in Tailor.
Alot of players make it around to the 20's-30's before they slow down, and a good stock of 20-40 cloth items use silk in tailor. |

I have played on multiple servers PVP and PVE. While price gouging varies by server minerals seem to be popular on every server. Jewel Crafting, engineering and blacksmithing make mining super profitable. |
