Stand up for what you believe; Even if you stand alone.

PARAGON - The 'Soldier'

UNITE - The 'Stealth'.

Only two?  I designed a spy rpg a while back for fun [Just written stuff] and here are the agent classes I was using.  Each of them has a very strong suit and has access to many other skills too of course so everyone can train in combat per se:

The Pointman - The suave, charismatic slick agent, generally the leader of the team.  Well rounded, a jack of all and master of none.

The Tech - They super hacker/Technologically brilliant agent

The Operator - A master of all forms of transportations and mechanics

The Assassin - This was my version of the soldier... but since they're SPIES I figured even they were usually stealthy unless it was a military-style mission.

The Gadgeteer - Inventor and walking database of any gadget you'd need for any missions

The Doctor - An expert of sciences, medicine, toxicology, etc.

The point of the post is -- 2 seems a little bit confined and missing a lot of possibilities and versatile gameplay options... so I hope more is announced.

Damn, that'd have been cool, TARDIS and everything ;)

i agree though, more choices would have been good, as anyone whose seen the first Mission Impossible film and series can attest too.

rather than "the soldier" i'd have thought "the mercenary" would have a better ring to it.

The recon unit

The Intelligence officier

you can think of literally loads of varying degrees of characterisation, hopefully they'll be a system employed.. so you can take the original choice and expand to a whole range of sub sections. Otherwise *makes the sound of a plane crashing*

IF I understood the system correct, the class is of little importance, but the skills and the gear, so you specialize over time, I think. Its just what I read out of the several interviews and press realeases. So the actual starting class choice will be of little matter, only that you have a certain path and then develop you special character over time with skills and gear, and there are no such tightly predefined roles like in traditional MMOs like tank, nuker, healer asf.

That CAN be very cool, if they do it right.

“Game Experience May Change During Online Play” is about ESRB ratings, not changing game content!

Ah, more speculation.  Aside from the fact that we all have pretty much the same information to work from....it does seem like only two "classes" exist.  Skillsets appears to be swappable though as they are connected to the your outfit/gear thus providing a bit more flexibility to players when they group as well as adding a bit of realism (because after all, even in fantasy we expect mages and clerics should be smart and capable enough to pick up swords occasionally....)

"pleasantly paralyzed"

I do not read the two factions as Classes, more, a Style of play.

That's like saying there's only two classes to play in WoW, the Alliance and the Horde.

In The Agency, your clothes define your class, not your faction.

I was under the impression that there were 2 factions rether then 2 classes.  I could be wrong, but that's how I took it.

There are the 2 organizations you begin in. Once you are skilled enough you can form your own organization. The type of player you are depends on what you wear so you have complete freedom
