Ok so i live in the usa and i have go to wikipedia and look up stargate sg1 episodes and found out they showed in the uk first.Thta makes me so so mad.So why do they do that .

Who cares? There's no less than a 6 month wait in the states for anything the BBC produces. It's only TV. Go play a game or something.

I am pretty sure Heroes is an American produced show as is SG1/Atlantis. They might have decided to delay the US showing of SG1 so when the season ends it will be just a short wait for the direct to DVD SG1 Movie. |

Stargate is porduced in Canada. As for why UK has already seen all the eps. This has been happening for many seasons. America starts out ahead of the UK in the fall. But America stops showing eps. because of Christmas (winter) break but UK continues to show new ones. I believe that US starts out 2 weeks ahead and falls to 2 weeks behind at the end of the season.

cos in the uk we never split shows up we run a season none stop
the us get the first parts first we get the last first but only by a week or two so every tuesday night for 20 + episodes we get say sg1 its just the way are tv works but then again we only got 5 channels (unless you have satalite) |

So if i get this right in the usa we see part of a season in th fall ahead of th uk.but in usa they stop showing the episodes during dec.-april but they stop show new eqisodes in th uks for about a month they they start showing them again in jan but they wait to show the usa new episodes until april right.
