Just been to the soe.sony.com website, which lists all its games and there it is - under console games then listed as a PS3 title.

Ah well, as a PC owner I will miss this opportunity as I dont have a console, well not at that price.

Yea, there is this golden rule in the console world, where "Exclusive" means that it only comes out on that console.. and for PCs.. it's rather wierd imo :S

I hope they keep the servers seperate. After all console players aren't real gamers and need to be kept seperate from us real gamers so we dont catch anything But really (the above was a joke for those without the concept of humour), the problem of having the same server for console and pc would mean the pc version needing to be dumbed down.

are you talking dumbed down as far as control and interface usage? Thats what I assume at least. the PS3 graphics are made to handle it for sure. but limited on buttons and what not.

I have a feeling it will be seperate, I wanted them joint for the sake of playing everyone I know that hase 1 or the other :P

You know sometimes it is nice to be corrected.  Thanks very much for being pleasant about it to, rather than the usual flamewar.

Cross platform would be great.  Im sure ive heard there is another online console/pc game but the servers are NOT cross platform as it would hand the PC guys an advantage... halo 2 or shadowrun? (hmm cant recall)

So, all in all, YIPPEE, I do get to play it at some point.

In a press release they already stated that they currently plan to have PC and PS3 players on the same servers.  Sorry, I can't find it and don't have much will to look for it really.  So it is just my word unless someone else digs it up.  I only remember it because to my knowledge it will be the first MMO to allow such a thing and really surprised me to read it.  If this is a true FPS type combat game, then it is time to show those on console that the mouse is better once and for all! 

I say it's going to be a rather refreshing change...

I can use the PC when the wife is on the TV and when she's on the PC, I can get on the big 60 inch HDTV!
