I love it. Mind you, the coin thing they should have had since the beginning. But that "dressing room" is going to make things a thousand times easier on the broker. One of the reasons, I never bought housing stuff on the broker was because I didn't know what it looked like and didn't want to bother searching it on the web.

Its a great idea to improve the less wanted aa lines but there are also some small nerfes to some of the popular aa lines so i guess some classes won't be that happy.
other than that it looks very positive for pve, not sure about pvp changes.

As simple as this sounds, EQII seems to be listnening to their fanbase. FOH posted a post about changes that would be good for EQII a few weeks ago and then "poof", the next patch addresses most of those issues.

I had issues at release with EQII mostly concerning the lack of lore and racial identity as well as the horrible questing systems and soloing issues. Not only did they fix these things but they have gotten the word out so people like me could see it.

SOE has made some pretty big screw ups but maybe it has made them a better company. EQII certainly is better and this next patch looks pretty sweet.

I recall reading an article from Scott Hartsman about EQII at launch. He said the developers weren't playing the game back then and that is a bad sign. You know you're doing things right if someone works on the game 50 hours a week and still wants to play it when they go home.  That also gives you a great insight on what is fun and what is annoying with your game. This patch and others seems like SOE have finally gotten "it".

My favorite WOW feature was being able to see what armor and weapons would look like on my character before purchase. Nothing wrong with everyone else stealing this feature as well. EQII has some nice armors but it also has some butt ugly ones. Sometimes I like to go the vanity path instead of the powergamer.

Overall it looks good. There are some nerfs buried in it, and that has some people upset as nerfs usually do.

Apparently some of the less attractive current pieces are being revamped. No more purple pants…

Heya Moirae :) You mind expanding on this? I've not read far into the changes, so no idea what you mean.

About the update; I'm really looking forward to it. Especially the reduction of damage overall in aid of prolonging fights etc.
If it gets rid of stun-stab-dead abilities by some characters, all the better too.

I agree (with the fellow about about SoE starting to 'get it'.. sorry forgot to record your name) that SoE seem to be on the right track with EQ2.
It's a hell of a lot more impressive since I played last a few months ago.

And hell yes, outfit preview window! Who gives a toss if WoW did it first. This isn't WoW, this is EQ2, and we WANT IT! hehe.

Sorry to no doubt re-ask a much asked question but; is this fully on Test now? And any idea of when we may see it Live?

Coin will now have no weight, and will also convert to higher denominations automatically for you.

The coin thing.... instead of having a million copper build up and weigh your character down, the coin will automatically update so that 10 copper will immediately become 1 silver rather than making you go to a bank to change the money over. Most games do that.

Sounds like a great update, the coin thing should really be one of those morale boosting features if nothing more. As for the dressing room, I think that SoE is hesitant to add more then one feature that is commonly associated with WoW in each update.

Would be nice if 10 copper became 1 silver instead of 100 copper = 1 silver
