i would have never thought RF Online is going f2p. guess they have too few players... firstly melting 2 servers in 1 and now f2p. |

Code Masters version of Rising Force On-line is Confirmed to be getting the Korean server Version of the game. The KRFO version has been F2P for sometime now and there are very fundemental parts of the code tied into the F2P parts of the code. Code Masters is the Host and admin of the CM-RF version that USA,UK, and Austrialia Play, they do not have coding rights only CCR the orginal developer has right to alter any code. Most rcent statements of the Community relations Manager on the offical Codemaster site made a estimate that they are roughly 30% complete with testing code. There is no set date nor Guideline date mentioned due to code being translated from korean text to a english text and coding in genral By CCR is time consuming and testing process. The choice to go to 1 server on the merge 6 months ago is totally unrelated to the fact that CCR has choosen to update Codemasters version nor does CM have any choice on weither or not the game is free to play in the fact that the code is specifically built to be F2P.
