Ok DAOC is changing their Icons. Most look nothing like the current ones. Playing melee or healers is very frustrating because you need to use tool tips to figure anything out.
The reason I am posting this is in the hopes that people will login to the test server, see how bad they are, and then send feedback so that maybe they won't go live with them. At the very least, back up your old icons so you can use a custom UI. Trust me, if you are someone that needs a visual clue or plays multiple toons with different QB set ups, you are going to want to old icons. |

hmm, atleast I don't really like the new icons... They're kinda confusing to say the least. BUT, I think that those icons aren't the final ones that Mythic puts into final patch

I've began to like them. Something new... some of them still suck imo, eg most of the buff icons. Resists have good icons since you can see what type of resist it is just by looking at the icon, unlike before

Looking for the P in PvP. |
They're refreshig and give a nice senzation after a while, of new, like the smell of newspaper in the morning But yeah they coulda done a WAY better job on the icon - skill relation so that some mezzes wouldnt look like other classes heals, and so on. I personally at first sight couldnt relate icons to certain skills, only after i checked bar to memory and rememberd where i put what everything clear up a bit. So bottom line : Takes getting used to like most unpolished things in the world, not great by far, but not that bad either, progres at the definition's edge. |

I do not like them. I hate them in fact. All of my pierce icons (I think it was pierce) were yellow. It is just a big blob of color with little pictures in them. These might be fine for WoW or even WAR, but not for DAOC.
