here are a few suggestions to the game of wow. first off combat: instead of runnin around and jumpin like a bunch of idiots like ive seen in pvp here is what they should do. lets make it to where you actually face your target all the time. and instead of jumpin around like rabbits lets make it to where you sidestep and dash forward and backward while you target someone. that way its alot easier to target stuff. also when you want to heal or buff someone you face them. that way you know where the guy is and if he is in range or not. Battleground: they need to add a timer to these like warsong gulch. these battles can go on as long as 2 hours and i have seen it before. a timer for 30 minutes should be enough time you should have to get the flag 3 times. when it expires whoever has more points wins. and if its a tie their will be sudden death. Mount: how about some mount combat? how cool will that be? you think they would of figure this out by now. Dungeons: how about shortening the dungeons a tad? last time i was in a dungeon i was in it for 5 hours. that was the worse day of my life sitting in front of a computer for that long. or the least they could do is make a short version and a long version.

here are some more suggestions i thought of Battlegrounds: basically you could tell who wins each match by whoever has the best equipment right? most of the time one side (alliance which i have experianced most of the time) will have so called "twinks" that have more advance armor and weapons than other players. also sometimes low lvls come in and dont stand much of a chance. now how about if we boost up everyone to the same lvl (as in the gulch's case 19) . also make all the equipment in each pvp battleground have the same stats (for ex in gulch all mail chest pieces worn in the battle will have the same armor rating ). they can still look different just have the same stats. this will allow for a more fair battle and gives everyone a chance to win. characters on same realm: everyone can make more than one character on a server and sometimes its hard to keep track of a guy if hey keeps changing characters. how about linking all their characters on the same server? like when you add someone on your buddy and he signs on another character you can see that change. also when you join a guild why not link all your characters on the same guild? this way it will be easier to keep in contact with each other and not have to keep adding each character to the same guild. this will also prevent someone from bein in multiple guilds which is pointless. |

You have some good suggestions. I agree mostly with the battleground suggestion. Warsong Gulch can take forever sometimes. Many teams guard there flag carriers with mostly all there members. Its impossible to kill the flag carriers sometimes and if you do, another member of the team picks the flag up. There should be a timer in the battlegrounds to make games faster and funner. If games were faster, the wait to get into a battleground would be much shorter. Or.. they could could possibly send the flag back to its base if its out for more than a certain amount of time. |

Well, your heads in the right place.
I've been saying that Mounted Combat should be implemented for a LONG time now. It's just a natural progression that should have happened with the games first patch. I like the timer idea on bg's as well. I've been through some that are just long and nasty. Now here's where I disagree.... Combat Tracking System (or Auto-lock). WoW's original intent was to make the fighting as real as possible. Well, in real life....you can't really "auto-lock" someone your fighting. You have to move around. And if ya wanna jump, well that's on you. Cause in WoW, once you target someone, you technically are locked on them (unless they disappear). You can only swing if you ARE facing them. So I guess this system is already in place, just not the way you want it. I agree, some dungeon's are too long. But that's sort of the point. It's where they steal a bit from real life D&D. I've suffered through campaigns that led us through dungeons that would last 3-5 nights. So a few hours to me isn't that big of a deal. Twinks. To be fair, BOTH SIDES have twinks. And the sick reality is, horde side outnumbers the alliance 4-1 as far as twinks go (depends on server). Why? Cause 70% of the people on Horde side are former alliance, who got sick of the little kids bein stupid. They know how to make cash, they know what weapons to get. It's easier for most to twink a horde character simply because you've already been through the game on the alliance side, and know where to find stuff. However, Bliz will NEVER balance bg's out. EVER. Why? Well, the whole point is that the "better" players win. And that usually means better gear. And if you're willing to put the time (and gold) into making your guy that much better, well, that's on you. |

"I left the guild because I''m not paying $14.95 per month to get yelled at!" |
Here's my two cents: Combat: Give us a key mapping to do a one-time "face target". I think that would not take skill from combat, and would actually be a useful button to have. Battlegrounds: /agree on the timer. The latest patch mentioned a matching system for like-geared people. Has anyone done any research into that? Mount: I would look for more realism here to promote some immersiveness. Mounted combat and mounts that can swim are two points that I would address. The game loses some realism without those factors. Dungeons: Some dungeons are a bit too involved. Sunken Temple is one that comes to mind. Just too much to do for a dungeon. I think you need to divide your dungeons into PUG dungeons and RAID dungeons and just leave it at that. However, I think that Blizzard had it in mind that for the casual gamer, Honor Coins and Marks of Honor are a way to spend a little time on each day and yet still get some of the nicer gear without the Raiding. Thanks for reading! |

WoWs dungeons are already short and for the most part really easy are you trying to take all time commitment and dungeon running skill out of the game? PvP combat doesnt need an auto face either you have to be able to get behind someone your fighting. While you are thinking what would make the game easier, easier is not better. These ideas would make me want to play less but keep thinking. MMos are not for sitting down for 5 minutes and getting something done other than a few mobs dead or some items crafted.
you dont ride a horse while it swims through the water either. st is one of the better dungeons out there too. If you dont like st its because your trying to do the entire place which isnt necessary. St doesnt have an ending point. pick a destination go there get your gear and get out. |
