This game is the reason I will NEVER EVER buy another Sonic Team game again. The single player is okay. The online version totally stinks. $10 bucks a month is a total waste of your money.

Sega really went downhill after they abandoned the Dreamcast and became an independant developer, imo. It's as if all of their teams just lost the passion they used to have. I can't think of the last really good game they put out since then. Well, maybe PSO Ep III Card battles.... So many horrid Sonic cash ins. Kind of sad, such a dependable solid developer back in the day. PSO still ranks as one of my favorite games of all time. RIP Sega of old.

PSO 3 was trash.... I cant even justify a game where the CPU is so emo it commits suicide (and it did for me MANY times... both enemies and my partners... I quit shortly after)

You mean PSO Ep III card battles? I don't ever remember the game crashing when I played it. Is that what you meant by "CPU comitting suicide?" Of course I only played it for a few days, and I never went online. That was longer than I've ever been able to stand any other card battling game. Not my thing at all, but I could see where some-one that liked that style of game might get into it. That's why I said "maybe" Ep III card battles. At least it wasn't total cash in crap like most of the recent Sonic Games. Shadow the Hedgehog,,,,Sonic...but black...and with a gun! WTH were they thinking?
PSO Ep. I and II and well as PSO BB for the PC were both also f-ing awesome, but they were basically expansion packs for PSO on the DC. |

I agree that some don't like it... it's more like "running dungeons" in like Diablo 2 . or like running instances in WoW a couple times....

Of course you cannot compare this game to an PC mmorpg, its not really an MMOrpg, but i enjoy to play it on my Xbox, maybe because its the only online RPG game at this moment. The contnent and graphics are not that good but ive seen worse before for sure |
