i should be wearing a helmet before posting this but..
Ac1 should open a new server.. a.. get this.. *ducks* item shop server.. why? well the fact that you "could" play for free would get people to log back on again, and.. they can get money on things like .. Housing.. Like .. Crap WTH else could they sell.. maybe my idea stinks who knows.. but i have felt an empty place in my heart since I stopped playing AC and went to wow, ac was already long dead sad.. combine to one server.. and charge dirt? wouldn't be worth the hastle.. I guess we should put asheron in the ground, but I'll shed a tear or two for him as i rember countless hours smashing loogies in the face, and those damn monkeys.. oh and man, singularity keys, i swear they "NEVER dropped" I think maybe the marketplace took some of the luster off the game, nothing like trading in good ol' subway..and the days "pre - prismatic tapers" LEARNING SPELLS was awesome.. I remeber a better day, when WoW didn't kill all other MMO's.. is unfortunate that WoW is the major leagues, and all the other games are just not the same .. i'm sad without the good ol' days of AC and thinking "everquest is poo" I"m sad.. I'm gonna go play my 360 peace |

it is unfortunate wow came to simplify all mmorpgs delaying our quest to reach an ac-like game again ill never be young enough to have the free time i did when i played AC in it's prime, so it goes down in history as the best game ive ever played goodbye loogies and monkeys |

It's too much work to sell individual items. The easiest way to make the game free would be make premium and basic free accounts. Free accounts would get the original Asheron's Call (no housing, no extra islands and expansion content, no levels beyond 126). Premium accounts would obviously get access to everything. Turbine won't do this though. They could have done it with AC2, but they would rather move on. |
